It’s very sturdy. The metal & wood combo was what I was after & these two combine great get. No issues with any danage to wood as I saw in couple reviews. It came with clear instructions to put together & every piece down to screws were labeled clearly. Took my hubby about 90 minutes to put together. His only complaint was the very small allen wrench it came it. Hard to manage if you have big bands or chunky fingers :) Highly recommend. Now on to decorating ... show more

This table exceeded my expectations!! We had this weird spot in our living room that we weren’t sure what to do with. I searched for days for the right decorative piece that would work and couldn’t find anything until I stumbled upon this piece. Once I found this table I thought it would be perfect for the spot and it was just that! The piece is so well made, was very easy to assemble (took me 20 minutes by myself and I am a small woman), and it looks great! This console table is not only beautifully designed but its very sturdy and made well! Very easy to put together. My husband built it and it took him about 30 mins from start to finish. The wood is thick also, so it will withstand wear and tear through out the years.
