For the price. I was expecting cheap craftsmanship but wow, was pleasantly surprised of the quality and look of both the desk and the cabinet. Package came in two large boxes, one for the table and other for the desk. Took about 1 hour to assemble the table and 2-3 hours to assemble the cabinet. Mind you, I took my time as I had a 3 yo “helping” me but am sure others will be faster. You’ll need two people to help assemble the cabinet as it is a heavy box and some sections, you’ll need someone to hold the shelves as you screw then in. Overall, I love my new desk and cabinet. I probably would have gotten a larger desk and probably more filing cabinets or closed shelvings but really depends on what you need to store. I ended up buying nice storage boxes to put inside the open shelves to hide some of the mess. ... show more

Let me start by saying that after I had assembled everything and and "made it work", I like my desk. Huge improvement over my old one. Where Tribesigns falls short is in the customer service experience. My package arrived with damage to one of the panels for the rolling filing cabinet. During transit the glider arm for a drawer had been physically ripped free of the wood, leaving behind damage to the drawer. When I contacted Tribesigns they asked me to install the glider back to the drawer as there appeared to be holes in the glider I could match to the undamaged section of the panel. I said no, I preferred to have a new part shipped with the original glider in place and undamaged. They argued that their engineers said I could make it work, that it would take a long time to get the replacement part since they were from China, and finally offered me $30 instead of sending a new part. After going back and forth with them I tried their suggestion. The drawer works but drags instead of sliding smoothly like the other drawer does. I did receive my credit, but that takes a star away. The other issue is their instruction sheet. It's full of omissions of steps. You have to intuitively figure out where to place the screw holders because the pictures don't always show you. And the drawer pull hardware comes with screws inside the bag that are too long - when tightened to the max, the pull is not firmly seated to the drawer. Someone else must have complained about it because there was a small bag of screws included that worked, but again no instructions or inclusion in the pictograms. So there goes another star. Shipping damage happens - that's not a surprise. Where vendors earn top marks is how they take care of the customer. Nice sturdy desk. The only issue I had were the instructions. No written instructions. Just pictures. Pictures are of poor quality. I you aren't careful you will assemble wrong and have to disassemble and reassemble again. Only half of the order was delivered. Contacted the company and they responded quickly. They replied that one of the boxes was damaged and returned by Fed X. They immediately sent a replacement out and I received it in two days. Very happy with the customer service and would purchase again from them. ... show more

It took me the entire afternoon to assemble the desk and drawers. Instructions are very clear and easy to follow but some holes aren’t aligned to each other. I had a bit difficulty in putting the counter of the movable drawer bec. of alignment issues— that is frustrating— and creating some small gaps. I then notice some cosmetic imperfections (dents) but good thing they aren’t that noticeable. I wish edges are smooth to avoid arm scratching due to long hours of work. Customer service is good in responding to inquiries— the desk and drawer came in separately and their customer support assured me that the other piece will be delivered soon (which Im very grateful). Overall is it a good buy. Nice quality. A bit pricey. Look professional. ... show more
