I’ve assembled a lot of “build-it-yourself” furniture over the years, and this desk was honestly one of the easiest and most solid pieces I’ve put together. From the moment I opened the box, everything was well organized and clearly labeled. The instructions were straightforward and easy to follow, which made the entire process smooth from start to finish. I was able to complete the full assembly in about 35 minutes by myself without any frustration or confusion. One thing that really stood out to me was the quality of the particle board. I’ve built plenty of desks, dressers, and bureaus where the particle board chips, cracks, or splits when you’re tightening hardware. That wasn’t the case here at all. Everything felt dense, sturdy, and well manufactured. The pieces lined up perfectly and nothing felt flimsy during assembly. The locking cams and fasteners were also solid and held everything together tightly. A couple of the locking points were located in tighter spaces, but it wasn’t a big issue. I used a 90-degree attachment with my Fanttik electric screwdriver which made those spots extremely easy to reach. Even if you don’t have that tool, the desk includes a small screwdriver that’s thin enough to fit into those areas without much trouble. Once fully assembled, the desk feels very stable and solid. There’s no wobbling and it feels much more durable than a lot of similar flat-pack furniture I’ve built in the past. Overall, this was a really positive experience. Easy assembly, clear instructions, good hardware, and surprisingly sturdy construction. If you’re looking for a desk that doesn’t turn into a frustrating multi-hour project, this one is definitely worth it. It also has plenty of room on the top to work off of as well. ... show more

The desk arrived and was easily assembled by me and my wife in about 1.5 hours. The top consists of 4 rectangular pieces that join together well. Two pieces of the desk top had some noticeable finish imperfections that detract a bit from the overall appearance, but we completed the assembly anyway. The wood pieces are a bit darker in our room than the online photos, but that is not unexpected. The desk is a good size and is very stable once assembled.
