Love this desk I got for my home office wanted something affordable but with a little class and expense appeal and this worked perfectly. The only thing I wasn’t expecting was that it comes in two parts but it’s great if you want to change it from left to right.

    • Poor Design and Build Quality
The desktop is made up of 5 separate pieces. Even if manufacturing execution was perfect with every part made to the center of tolerances it would be nearly impossible to have all 5 pieces fit perfectly to yield a flat and square top surface. Manufacturing execution was not perfect on mine and there are substantial gaps and height differences among the 5 pieces. Result is an uneven surface with abrupt height changes and gaps between mating edges. Even after investing an additional hour to best fit the panels prior to tightening it is far from perfect. Other than this desktop issue, the the desk and cabinet are attractive and sturdy. I'm considering making a one piece top myself if the costs make sense. ... show more

The top of the desk is 5 different pieces and they do not line up properly, so there are gaps between them. Very noticeable! The L piece doesn't attach to the desk at all, so this is hardly an "L-Shaped Desk" at all. It's just a regular desk with another piece of furniture that can sit right against it. It's sturdy when it's put together and there's a lot of desk space, but it's so large that you'll have to disassemble it just to move it to a different room. ... show more

It is an attractive and nice desk but L shaped it is not. The file section is just meant to be placed next to the desk. I expected it to be connected to the desk. My husband had a hell of a time with the drawer. It kept getting stuck. Finally he had to make an alteration in order for it to be operable. Other than that I am pleased with the purchase. My old desk was too small for the two computer monitors and my printer. This desk has plenty of room. It would have been nice had there been a pull down for the keyboard but I will manage. ... show more
