The medium is comparable in size to my large sweatshirts from other brands. It did shrink slightly with the first wash, which I was actually happy about — when I tried it on straight out of the package, it was quite large on me. After washing, the fit was much better and still very roomy and comfortable. As with most materials, any stains should be treated before washing to keep it looking its best. I found this sweatshirt more for spring time, or for central air to take chill off for it’s a thinner material.
