The young man who is autistic and absolutely loves this color of blue, loved the jacket. He hardly wants to take it off his mother said! I bought him XL and it fits perfectly. He is 6'-2" and about 190 lb. The arms are padded lightly but not the fleece lining that the rest of it has and for him, that's perfect.... Okay new part of the review. I would have put 5 stars because for the price it was a nice jacket. But the zipper is completely stuck and almost like glued after only a few wearings [has had less than 2 weeks] and there is a rip in the fabric on one side. I am waiting for his mother to return the jacket to me, as I cannot return for free without the original packaging. I bought the jacket Dec. 20th so do not have the original packaging. Amazon does offer to pick it up and they print out a label as long as you have a box for 7.99 so I'm going to go with that. Bottom line, the jacket just may have been defective and I am repurchasing it to see if the next one holds up better. If not, on to a jacket that is better made. While the description says both "coat" and "jacket" - this is really light enough that I would call it a jacket, and NOT a coat. Having read the reviews before I bought it, I made sure to layer another vest underneath it, and I stayed toasty warm in 14⁰ F (-10⁰ C) weather while hiking in the mountains last week. While the pockets are handy to hold gloves, phone, and maybe snack or two - they worked well - but my personal preference would be for the inside pocket and outer pocket to be a tad deeper. They did work fine, though. The zippers are plastic. I really wish they were brass, for longevity - but they did the job. One of the zippers was a little "sticky" - but with a little more than some gentle persuasion, it closed up properly. I may lube it with some soap or wax to see if that helps. Fit. Some other reviews were complaining that the jacket was too big. Nah. It's MADE to fit over clothing and maybe other jackets. I normally wear a USA size L, and so knowing that I was going to layer clothing, I ordered an XL jacket. This worked well for me. ... show more

Let start off by saying the coat is really warm. So in that regards its a good coat. But a couple of things really suck about this coat. First the hood is too small. I don't have a big head at all and the hood doesn't fit my head, but I can look pass that as I always wear my own hat anyway. The biggest issue with the coat is the pockets. They way to small and are made very cheap. I can put my phone on my pocket but then my hand will not fully fit in the pocket the phone is in. Only about half my hand fits in it. But the real issue is how cheap they are. After about wearing it 2 or 3 times both pockets have big holes in then now. Like I can fit most of my hand in them and feel the inner layer. Both pockets this has happened to and because of that I can't wear it anymore. ... show more
