Awesome drive shafts. The front are the exact same size as stock. Kinda wished it would allow for more travel but can’t complain over all. The only reason I bring it up is because the insert of the rear is 2x as long as stock. HIGHLY RECOMMEND USING OIL WHEN INSTALLING! I used some gun oil I had laying around but it seems to move a lot more free when there is some lube in the splines. ... show more

I have 2 Axial scx24's, and both have been upgraded to brushless. They are 3s capable, and I decided to go with Treal's steel transmission because the quality is always spot on! The screws provided with this set are of the absolute lowest quality possible. As with all small scale RC cars, I barely finger tighten every screw and use high quality wrenches to avoid stripping anything. I have used MofoRC, Meus, Injora, RCScrewz, and a few other brands without issue. However these axles/screws caused me a great headache. The first sign of an issue was when my driveshaft dropped out of my car during assembly, where I noticed the bottom 1/4 of the threads snapped off and caused the screw to fall out. No big deal, they include a spare screw with the kit. Upon tightening the spare into place, the head snapped off leaving the rest of the threads in place in my axle/transmission. This required me to dremel the driveshaft apart to save my transmission from being permanently attached to this driveshaft, destroying the driveshaft in the process. It also destroyed my main gear in the transmission, as I had to dremel that a bit to get the screw free enough to remove the driveshaft. Upon trying to remove the other 3 pieces of the driveshaft from the car, to make way for an Injora replacement, one more screw decided to snap off half way, thankfully not in a way that required the dremel to come back out. Moral of the story - avoid Treal, order Injora, or have better quality screws on hand and don't use the provided ones. I included a picture to show you the 3 snapped screws, and the results of having to dremel the one piece of the driveshaft to save my transmission. ... show more
