This battery does the trick if you want to push your vxl 3s to it’s limits. I got this and a 4000mah 3s for my rustler vxl 4x4. The only problem with these batteries is the fact that it will very easily overheat your esc and motor especially in offroad terrains where wheel speed is high. Using the smaller “high speed” pinion gear will accentuate this even more. Honestly i wish I’d gotten the 5000mah 3s and a large 2s battery just to have longer run time no matter where you’re running it. I have the esc fan and a fan on my motor and still only get about 15-20 minutes run time. It’s a good product but if you want to run just 3s be prepared to buy about 3 or 4 of them and have to wait for your system to cool down quite often. ... show more
