Location for easy plug in
Some other lights have a larger plug and won’t fit. And traxxas does not have plugs separate.

UPDATE: I contacted TRAXXAS support and figured out I wasn’t pushing it in hard enough to get it to stay. There is still an issue with the blinkers not working, only the right rear blinker works, and only one kg the rear backup lights comes on when backing up. Otherwise, works great and very bright! CONNECTION ISSUE: I spent the time to install everything, which I did correctly and it didn’t take too much time to do. After everything was installed (including the separate light kit for my Land Rover Defender body) I went to connect the Distribution Block to the Power Module, and immediately had issues with the connection staying in place. It seems like I must’ve gotten a faulty product on either the distribution block or power module, as it doesn’t stay connected unless I use tape, and even then it gets easily dislodged while driving it. Very frustrating. I have reached out to Traxxas for support/remedy to this issue and will update when it (hopefully) is fixed. ... show more

This kit is the best purchase I have ever bought
Really no dislike but had to spend a 109.99 for new lights but luckily I just used the old lights on another Defender but well worth the money especially being on trail and not having to pull body off

Great packaging and instructions
Purchased this after the standard lighting kit, this kit replaces all the standard kit parts except for the actual lights. Also, you need to order the reverse lights separate along with the remote transmitter so you can control from the app. Overall, looks and works great. It’s a shame Traxxas makes it so confusing just to get a light kit. Kits don’t build on each other, just wasted parts and unnecessary costs. ... show more

Only got break lights after install.
Do not get if you already have a traxxas light kit. Ordered the Traxxas Pro Scale Advanced Lighting Control System (TRA6591) as I already have the light kit for my old 1979 bronco installed. Since that kit is not set up for turn signals or back up lights, of course none of it worked. Only the break lights worked. Look into the full pro scale control and light kit. Update. Installed Traxxas part 8032. Now have back up lights and a way to mound it to the body. Original pro light kit does not come with a body mount. Still no blinkers. ... show more
