    • Perfect for customization
Perfect fit for my mini maxx's. Painters tape and some rattle cans can get you whatever look you want. Or just leave it clear lol

    • Great option for custom paint jobs
Great option for making a custom colored RC. I like that the exterior came with a film on it to protect from overspray when painting the interior of the shell. That made for no masking and easily pealed off when the project was done.

    • Not the same as OEM. Flimsey, brittle, and breaks apart.

This body is very brittle and is literally breaking apart without any serious impact or provocation. The original body is still intact with much rougher use. This body is not nearly as flexible or pliable as the original, and is quickly cracking apart (see photos). Bought this body kit to replace the original black one to make the car more visible at a distance. Painted it with genuine Traxxas "Maxx Orange" paint according to directions. Everything went fine until I started driving the car. Only use it on a soccer field because our Sheltie dog loves to chase it, but doesn't damage it. It takes an occasional tumble in the grass if it hits an odd bump or I turn too sharp at higher speeds. Never do "bashing" sessions, or anything of the kind. Old body got lots worse treatment, learning to drive it in front of the house, etc., and is still intact. I think this body is either made for Traxxas by someone different than the OEM bodies, or its counterfeit. Either way it's trash. If it's a real Traxxas they should be ashamed of it. It's not at all like the original, and Traxxas customer service has no explanation. Looks like I'm going to have to buy a pre-painted orange or green OEM body, and hope it's like my original all-black one. ... show more
