I am a fan of Travelpro products for their durability and performance. This version has an outstanding quality build and peforms well. Sizing fits overhead compartments with ease - an important factor with the density of travelers on each aircraft. There is not a tremendous amount of room, but I am guilty of overpacking. I use as my backup in case the main bag doesn't make it. That has happened to me more often than I would like. The bag handles well and the casing material is superior. Strongly recommend.

I was looking for a carry on that could hold all my electronics and a couple of changes of clothes for short work trips. The build quality of this bag is by far better than others I've used (including the maxlite and the crew classic.) This handles are very sturdy and the wheels are extremely smooth. (I actaully can let the case go and it rolls like the wheels are powered.) The interior has plenty of zippered storage. On top of the functionality, the bag just looks really good. I've only traveled with this a few times so far, so I can't attest to the long term durability. Although pricey, I feel like you're getting what you pay for. I travel often so I'll get alot of usage out of this purchase.

Got this for my husband who can fit what he needs for a week trip just fine. It’s a little too small for my needs, but I’m tempted to learn to travel with less bc this bag is so lightweight, rolls so smoothly, and fits so easily in the overhead. Last trip, hubby wheeled my older Travelpro and I wheeled this. A couple of reviews complaint that it rolls too well and out of control. While it’s true that it will keep rolling if you let go, it stops easily if you rotate the suitcase. Sturdy construction, nice color. Waterproof insert for cosmetics or wets. Definitely on the spendier end for us, but it should last many years as have all our other Travelpro suitcases.

TRAVELPRO PLATINUM ELITE 20” EXPANDABLE BUSINESS PLUS CARRY-ON SPINNER SKU: 409188005 I try to provide enough detail to provide you additional information to make your purchase decision. If you find this review helpful, please click on the HELPFUL button. I bought the Vintage Gray with the leather trim and it looks great. It arrived in a heavy cardboard box completely wrapped in plastic, so not a scratch on it. This is a smaller piece of luggage than a typical 22” piece, so it will fit almost every carrier’s carry-on limits. This luggage can pack a ton of things and is very organized. I have packed for a week in Key West, so that would include pants, shorts, swim gear, etc., and it all fit. It has outside zipped compartments for other things like your tablet, travel docs, etc. The bag materials are thick (read QUALITY, high denier ballistic nylon that will last forever), the sewing is on-point with no stitching problems, and of course, the magnetic wheels spin effortlessly and track straight when rolling (huge benefit over other luggage without wheel tracking). The Vintage Gray is well, vintage - I think the style is sharp, classy and something that will be easier to find than the standard black or navy blue of other luggage. The handle is substantial and I found it to be sturdy and comfortable, with a contoured handle. The zippers are Supra and are very strong and work well. And of course, it comes with a USB port with a dedicated power pack compartment (you have to buy the battery separately), laptop compartment and 4 pockets and a keyring in the zippered compartment. You can see in the pictures: • The spinner opens to a large, 20” cavernous compartment with a divider with pockets, and a TSA approved toiletry bag that snaps in place for easy removal if needed. The plastic on the toiletry bag is thicker than cheaper items and again, has a very strong zipper. • The main compartment is separated by a double pocket organizer that helps keep packed items secure and in place. • The front compartment is organized well with pockets, key holder, RFID protection, and a laptop and tablet pocket. The pocket for your laptop is thick and soft, so it protects your laptop even if your luggage gets bumped or dropped. Every detail screams of quality in this luggage. • There is a compartment for a battery pack that is pre-wired with a USB end that activates the outside USB port charger. This is very convenient to use and a life-saver if you cannot get to an AC outlet and need power for your phone or tablet. • And the smaller details, that increase comfort, and protection include the bottom hand grip for picking up your luggage to put in your car or airplane bin, and luggage protectors so the nylon fabric doesn’t contact the floor/ground if you have it laid down on its back. I pack with cubes and roll my clothes so I can easily get a week’s travel just taking this one bag carry-on. It fits in the bins with no trouble and the Magnatec wheels are awesome. No more fighting my wife’s cheaper spinner that seems to want to wander off, while mine just keeps moving true to a straight line. The handle is very sturdy, a problem I find with other bags. The handle is contoured and it does make pulling this very pleasant. The center separator with pockets is great to aid organization. I use a Medium and Small packing cube on the bottom, then clip the separator together, and pack another medium and small packing cube. I don’t miss the extra 2” I had with my previous bag and like the smaller/lighter profile. The smaller size makes handling it a breeze and it will pass any carriers Carry-On restrictions. I highly recommend this bag and getting it on sale is a no-brainer. Travelpro quality, durability and warranty makes this an easy decision. You could go cheaper, and you could go more expensive, so their pricing is in the middle, but their quality is unsurpassed!

I travel a lot for work so I need a bag and I can stand up to my schedule and do a lot of airport miles overall the bag is beautiful looks very well-made looks like a real quality piece of luggage it rules like a dream sometimes too well I’ve had to chase it down a few times my biggest dislike is to open the main compartment it Hass to be on its side to do so you can’t just zip down either sides and pull it open and grab your coat or stuff something in it which I find a nuisance when getting things in and out. Also I agree with the other reviewer’s about the zippers I have not had an issue yet but it certainly does not work as smoothly as the zippers on my Sam’s tonight also I wish the handle had a gel padding in it would be more comfortable when you’re dragging it long distances I really like the side top pocket to keep my phone charger that has been very handy I wish the front small pocket was just a little bit roomier overall I’m very happy with the bag and it really is beautiful

I travel for work for a couple of nights at a time and bought this suitcase to make it easier to get in and out of the plane/car. It has plenty of space to fit a few outfits and a pair or two of shoes along with toiletries, front pockets fit my laptop and an iPad with a padfolio. The extra space for battery has been great (you do need to purchase a separate battery though). Special note to the telescoping handle and the wheels - I’ve tried a variety of suitcases and this one seems to have it figured out! The handle is very easy to adjust to just the right height and the suitcase glides as it rolls any which way you need it to. I’ve had several colleagues command my choice of the suitcase. It is far from being the cheapest, but in my opinion absolutely well worth the price! It fits into any overhead compartment just perfectly both on domestic and international flights, so you won’t have to worry about checking it! Highly recommend!

I've been an avid business and leisure traveler for 30 years, flying almost every week. I have several pieces and sizes of Travel Pro luggage and love them all but this is by far the BEST carry on bag that I have ever had! Don't be fooled by the fact it's only 20". It has plenty of room for a 3-4 day trip with a few pairs of shoes and all the business clothes and toiletries I need and it easily fits in the overhead bin. The top is also wide enough to hold my tote bag for my laptop or a big purse without it falling off. The spinner wheels are very durable, making the bag easy to push even with a heavy tote on top. Last but not least, it is heavy duty, very good quality, and looks great - worth every penny!
