I really likel how this pack is secure. The zippers work well. Hooking them to the attachments takes a bit of time, which is their purpose, since unhooking them does, too, lol... For me, this is a minimalist backpack. I wish it had a big outer pocket for a large or even small waterbottle. The slots for the credit cards, for me, take a bit of maneuvering to get the cards in and out; but that is okay and is not really a bad thing as they are in there and safe. If it were bigger I could put my bigger camera in it, so I wish I could do that; however, my Fire tablet, phone, wallet, makeup, big sunglasses case, credit cards, and keys (there is a nice attachment for the keys which has a small flashlight on it-Nice) case for Diabetes stuff, emergency sugar stuff, tiny hairbrush, comb fit in well. Overall, I am very happy with this backpack, it is comfortable to wear and easy to adjust. The blue is a sweet color. It has an outer zipper pocket, inner zipper pocket and a flap pocket on the pack covered by the closing flap. I like to put my phone in there when I know I will need to use the phone quickly, otherwise there is a really nice pocket inside the pack next to the credit card pockets for that and also, my husband's reading glasses fit nicely in a pocket there, too--which is really nice as I can get them quickly for him. I'm so glad I purchased this bag for sightseeing in big cities. The security features are subtle but effective, like the zippers that lock to the bag. The inside features multiple sleeves for cards. It's the perfect size to pack two small lunches, a couple of plastic water bottles, an umbrella and a packable rain jacket. I like that this bag doesn't scream tourist. It's minimalist in style and not flashy but still good quality. We spent a hefty amount of time in the pouring rain. This is a really nice size to use as a purse/small day pack while traveling. I used it every day of my trip for a few weeks. The black looks nice enough to get by in Singapore, but is casual enough for Bali. I knew I was going to stick out as a tourist in SE Asia, so I figured a slim backpack with some anti theft features might be practical. To be honest I was overly cautious and never even came close to needing those features, but its a nice bag nonetheless. It easily held a small water bottle, sarong, wallet, phones, and a few other essentials while being small and light. For a theft-conscious person, this bag is pretty perfect for my needs. It's hard to find a secure bag that isn't bulky or meant to fit an entire kitchenette inside of it. I have been using the Pacsafe Citysafe CS300 for the past six years but have wanted an alternative with a different color palette and perhaps an even smaller profile. When I came across the Travelon Anti-Theft Slim backpack it seemed like the perfect choice! This bag perfectly fits my 10.5-inch iPad Pro (2017) with attached keyboard, a battery pack, several cables, headphones case, my sunglasses, and a few everyday toiletries and medicines. No extra weight or wasted inches beyond what I need if I'm traveling to a coffee shop or just running errands. HOWEVER. The other reviews have accurately warned...the front flap on the bag will NOT securely stay shut. Further, the straps don't fit on my shoulders in a way that makes me feel confident they won't slide off my arms. These two things are easily remedied! I purchased some tan no sew VELCRO strips for the front flap an Amlrt khaki chest straps to help secure the bag across my chest when walking. I also added a Pacsafe 3-dial clip cable lock to help secure the bag during quick bathroom breaks at the cafe. The Travelon bag is a lot more affordable than comparable brands so an extra $15-$20 feels like an appropriate amount to spend to make sure this bag does what it needs to do. This bag was cute and I loved the locking zipper feature. I travel a lot and wanted something that would keep my things secure. Unfortunately this bag was smaller than expected and quite narrow. The straps were not comfortable and the bag itself sat strangely on my back - it looked too big on my body while also being too small for what I needed? It was a strange combo! I use a small purse from Travelon nearly daily, so I do recommend the company, just not this particular bag! ... show more
