I have had this exact handbag for several years, and I have used it on many, many trips. The reinforced strap and the two locks on the purse make me feel very secure. The compartments are very convenient for travel. I use one in the front for my phone and one for hand sanitizer. The zippered section in the back (against the body) is great for passport and boarding pass. And there is enough room inside the main zipped pocket for everything else. My old purse has withstood a lot of spills and wear and tear, and although all the features are just like new, I decided to replace the old one with the exact same one for future trips. I purchased this bag about 15 years ago when we went to Italy for the first time. I was concerned with thieves around the train stations. I had no concern with this bag and I could place all the things that I wanted in it plus things that my husband handed to me to hold. I even used it at home from time to time. I really like these bags - have them in 4 colors. Black one I had zipper broke; it was 4 years old, so got good use from it. Ordered a replacement - one less card holder and no pen holders. Disappointed they cut corners. As another customer said - yes I still carry a pen.

I loved the latches and I loved all of the pockets! I got this for a trip to Paris but I think I'm going to use this as my everyday purse! The pockets inside are super convenient and I really liked the RFID blocking pockets. The only thing I would change is the pocket on the back. I know that it's against my body when I'm holding the purse but it would make me feel better if it also had a latching zipper on it because that's where I put my cash and passport! ... show more

Bought this for traveling to Greece. Perfect size for carrying those extras you need for the day like sun glasses / cases, and even small purchases without getting too heavy. I love my Travelon Cross body bags, but I am missing the lipstick holder that used to be in the zipper front area and the pen holders that used to be in the main compartment in this current version! I still carry a pen! The cross body strap is not as wide as previous versions.
