I bought this set about 5 months ago but didn’t want to review until it went through checking bags on a few flights. I’m delighted to report they stood up fantastically. I only checked the large one and the small one was suitable as a carry on for both Southwest and JetBlue, which was super helpful. The small one is also surprisingly roomy and I fit a LOT in it, using one of the small pockets for my liquid bag. The hard shell stood up nicely and the integrated TSA lock worked perfectly. I’m very pleased with this purchase and would buy again, but they stood up so well I don’t need to! Small note the little part on the carry one where you can charge your phone is a little gimmicky since you’d need your own portable charging battery and I’d rather use a MagSafe functioning one to charge my phone, or one with a short cord so I could keep my phone in my pocket. It’s a pretty useless feature, as it would be in any brand. I liked how high the carry on handle pulls so I never had to bend over when walking through the airport. The large one doesn’t go out super far, but since the case is large it is effectively the same height. The sizing is great. I was able to put the small on top of the large and secure with a simple luggage strap (that I would have with me anyway to identify my bags at claim) to move around with both together and another few bags for my family as well between the curb and the bag check. I didn’t check the small one but I feel confident it would hold up as well as the larger one. The value is incredible. I spent literally months looking for a set with a large enough checked bag to hold what I needed and a small one large enough to hold the rest that still fit within the most stringent airlines carryon policies. ... show more

Perfect size, travels well. Would be great if not for the nonfunctional zipper in the inside. It didn't work from the day i bought it. Working on a warranty claim now. UPDATE, file a claim as directed by the company. Received an email notification that they had 30 days to respond. Never heard another word. It's well after 30 days and i have reached out multiple times. 4/8/23 UPDATE: They finally contacted me and are replacing my suitcase under their warranty. New one arrives today. 4/10/23 UPDATE: New suitcase has a zipper that works perfectly. I even tested it by stuffing it with jackets and the zip worked as it should. It survived the round trip international flights (with connections) as well as multiple miles being tugged along on Italian cobblestone streets. It so far has been durable and easy to maneuver, especially compared to the Delsey brand 28” hard side luggage we brought as well. I would have given this suitcase 5 stars but unfortunately the zipper broke within one use and now splits whenever I try to use it. Everything else about the suitcase is great! I love the color (got the lavender), holds up well during travel, and protects my belongings inside way better than a typical fabric suitcase. Just wish the zipper was working properly. I purchased this bag in August 2023 for an over-seas trip. That trip (September) the zipper top fell off. Ok, no problem customer service sent me a new set. Trip #2 last month, the inner lining ripped/detached at the seam of the flap/divider. Sent in pictures, no response so far. Now, trip #3, the outer zipper is detaching from the hard shell body 🤦🏼♀️. I’ve never checked this bag, so has only been handled by me. I’m not an over-packer and have had suitcases (different brand) lasting decades! The media could not be loaded. Let me start off by saying how lightweight and easy to pack this suitcase is. I do love it, I ordered the green color and was not disappointed at all. I noticed right away with the large checked bag the zipper would snag and get caught in certain parts of the teeth, on inspection I couldn't see anything wrong. Despite this I figured it would go away with use, and that it probably happened by sitting in a warehouse for so long, nope. After my first use the zipper somewhat broke. It now doesn't zip correctly, I have to manipulate the zippers to keep everything from falling out of the zip compartment. I bought this suitcase on sale but I still paid a little over $200 for the big green guy. Its very disappointing that I have to get the zipper/zipper lining replaced after only using it once. I do not have this problem with the carry on bag of the same color, I actually love how easy it is to stuff the little one and all the extra compartments it comes with to make storage and package easily. I would recommend buying, but ensure you have enough time to request a replacement incase for any faultiness. I did not have that sort of time (I travel frequently for work) because my last suitcase I had to toss out (the wheels broke whole hauling it up some stairs) but that was a Walmart suitcase. There's comments somewhere above mine that mention how easy it is to scratch, yes it is. I myself have not scratched it but we all know how Baggage In Airports operate, and so the bottom got a little scratched but it's not noticable. Its a little scuff, it does roll easy and is very sturdy. But for the price, I might take my money elsewhere. ... show more
