I purchased it in advance of a 16-day trip from US to Italy. The suitcase only was taken, as I used it as carry-on and I left the smaller shoulder bag at home. I used a lightweight nylon backpack as the "personal item" and it held my crossbody purse. The suitcase weighed about 18-19 pounds near the end of our trip. We rolled over LOTS of stone pavements and up & down many cobble-y streets. All was good. After the trip, I inspected the bag, especially the handles. You can perhaps see that the middle handle( the main one you use to lift it onto curbs, or steps) the vinyl attachment piece with the rivets is already beginning to separate. We drilled two additional holes and installed ¼ inch "Chicago Screws" which are like manual threaded rivets. I added some super glue to reinforce the original rivet holes. I would be careful, and try to lift the suitcase using the "add-on" strap, instead of the top handle. If checking the bag in future, I will lift it using the side handle. It's always the dilemma, when buying a new case, go for the cheapo, knowing it may malfunction, or go for a more expensive one that may also malfunction on a long, rough pavements trip. I will use this next as a checked bag on an US airline. We'll see whether our preventive repairs will last. For the price of $44.50, I received a decent carry-on and a shoulder bag that I may or may not use. I may use it in the car as a "Go Bag" for emergency supplies or to hold items for the kids, or as a lunch bag. Overall, I was satisfied, but if I were traveling regularly, I would try to obtain an older, 2 wheel, better quality bag. Thanks for reading this. ... show more

    • Great Travel Suitcase for Hanging Clothes

We recently traveled to Europe and decided to buy this suitcase for our hanging clothes (shirts, dresses, suits) in the hope they would arrive relatively wrinkle free. We stuffed this suitcase with those items (all on hangers) and used the handy dandy interior pockets for all sorts of odds and ends. The suitcase is definitely a checked item not a carry-on. When we arrived and unpacked the clothes came out great ... hardly a wrinkle in sight and held up really well. Wish it was a spinner but got used to the two wheel system. I purchased 2 of the large luggage and it did not disappoint. I love the color, durability and mesh pockets it offered. Easy to overpack so be careful because this luggage can hold so much it's easy to keep adding items to it since it must be under 50# for check in at TSA. The easy straps kept all my clothes together and organized and even fragile items that I purchased during my trip. I love the different compartments, easy access to the outside zippers, lightweight and durable while rolling around the airport, shuttle bus, etc. Luggage also comes with a key/lock if needed. I didn't use it as I use zip ties if I am checking my bags. Just my preference because I tend to lose keys. -Purchase again? YES -Durable? YES -Recommend? Of Course YES ... show more
