I have not used it while traveling yet, so I'm not certain of its accuracy against airports scales. However it seems to be spot on. I gave it 4 stars because when I weighed something several times the numbers didn't't match. However 2 out of 3 attempts gave me the same reading.

I’ve officially reached the point in my life where I need a personal scale just to travel. Not because I want to check my weight, but because airlines seem to charge us for everything except for the air we breathe. So, I picked up the Travel Inspira Luggage Scale, hoping to save myself the unnecessary joy of paying extra fees because my suitcase is half a pound over the limit. First off, this thing is incredibly easy to use. I mean, you don’t need a PhD to figure it out, which is good because let’s face it, I can barely manage to pack without losing half my wardrobe in the process. You just hook your luggage on the scale, lift it up, and boom, it tells you the weight. It’s simple, intuitive, and takes about 3 seconds to get a reading. I was expecting to fumble with it for a while, but nope, it’s not rocket science. Thank goodness. The accuracy is spot on too. I’ve tried it with multiple bags, and every time it matches up with what the airline’s scale tells me, except when they "accidentally" round up, but that's not the scale's fault, right? The digital readout is clear and easy to read, so no squinting and trying to decipher some cryptic number like I’ve had to do with other scales. Now, let’s talk about the comfort (or lack thereof). If you've ever tried lifting a giant suitcase to check its weight, you know it’s basically a full-body workout. But here’s the thing: This scale is lightweight and compact, so it won’t add to your luggage weight because, apparently, we’re not even allowed to have luggage weight anymore, right? It’s the perfect size to toss in your carry-on or even your pocket if you're feeling extra daring. But here’s the thing I love the most: The peace of mind it gives me before heading to the airport. I can’t count the number of times I’ve stood in line at the check-in counter, holding my breath while they weigh my bag, praying it’s under the limit. With this scale, I’m no longer playing that dangerous guessing game. I know exactly where I stand before I even leave home. Airlines may want to charge you for your firstborn child if your bag is over the limit, but at least now I can avoid the last-minute panic. The downside? Not much really. The only minor thing I noticed is that you have to make sure to lift the bag smoothly or else the scale can give you a weird reading. It’s not a huge deal, but if you're in a rush or trying to lift a 50-pound suitcase with one hand while also holding your passport and pretending you’re not about to miss your flight, it’s a little tricky. Overall, this scale has been a game-changer. Airlines want to charge us for everything—checked bags, carry-ons, and even the air you exhale in the terminal. At least with this Travel Inspira Luggage Scale, you can be one step ahead of the game and avoid those surprise fees at the gate. It’s easy to use, accurate, and compact. Plus, it might just make you feel like you’ve got some control back in your life, even if it’s just over your suitcase weight. Highly recommend this little lifesaver.
