The panels feature factory-finished outside edges and can be cut to size, making them adaptable for any bathroom. The patterns are embedded into the material, creating a beautiful smooth surface that cannot scratch off. I am a DIY homeowner so my experience and abilities are limited to installing and repairing plumbing fixtures in my own home. This product was twice as expensive as other shower wall systems, but I selected it for three reasons; it is a quarter inch solid material (not a laminate), it is a floor to ceiling system that comes in 6 panels instead of 3 (easier to handle for a single person working alone) and the material is easy to work with (it can be cut with a circular saw, drill bit and a dremel tool. I am happy with the result. This arrived in one 5x8 foot 300 pound box. It would not fit through any door in my house even if I could move it (the delivery driver was kind enough to put this on my front deck - the boat is taking up the garage). I ended up carefully opening the box and moving the panels inside one piece at a time. I was impressed with the packing job - no panels were damaged in shipping and are covered with a protective layer of plastic. I reused the packing materials for cutting and bracing during installation. One issue is that the description says 4 tubes of silicone adhesive were included - these were missing. I emailed the manufacturer but have not received any response. I eventually called their customer support to find out what adhesive to use (100% clear silicone). Installation was pretty much as outlined in their video. The only panel I needed help with was the back panel, all the others I could put up myself. My only tip is to make sure to not press in with your bracing, otherwise you could create an indentation in the finished wall panel. Fortunately the enclosed corner trim strips handled this. I was momentarily tempted to install the extension panels ( the ones that go from 6 feet to the ceiling) without the metal join strips but this would void the 10 year warranty and make joining the two panel seams much more difficult. It is a tradeoff, but it would have been much more difficult for me to fit a floor to ceiling length panel. I cut the panels with a 60 tooth Vortex Diamond circular saw blade. No chipping or cracks, the material cut without any problems. I drilled out the plumbing holes with a bi-metal hole saw drill bit. For the larger openings around the shower valve I used a dremel tool. I reused the styrofoam from the shipping box to help support the panels while cutting them. I was worried about not flexing the material ( I had read reviews of other shower panels that snapped if flexed too much), but this seems to have good flexibility for handling. Awful to install. Awful packaging. Awful customer service. Products come damaged/discolored. Adhesive they sent bled through within a year and now they are trying to not honor their warranty. Now they don't even send adhesive anymore. I have not been this disappointed in a purchase/company in a very long time ... show more

The material is thick and solid - quality feel. Installation is fairly easy - cut to fit. Problem is with the quality control of the product itself - see photos. There are small bumps and what looks like a hair permanently stuck on the shower wall (the squiggle is part of the material). If you get shower wall “extensions” - so you can cover greater than 72” in height, be aware that the colors may be off so it looks like a mistake. None of this would bother me if the material was not priced such that excellent quality control should be expected. ... show more

Was delivered with no visible damage to the box but once opened there was a crack in the back wall panel. We were under a deadline so unfortunately returning wasn't an option. We just had to make do and silicone the crack in the panel.

I redid my shower with this material a year ago and I love it. It looks great and was easy to work with. I do recommend getting the best blade you can find for your circular saw and take your time with the cuts. I got a six piece surround and the only negative I can say is that the metal trim pieces that fill the gap between panels are very tight especially when you have added adhesive. My first one didn't go in perfect, but on the other 2 sides I bent the channel open just a little to make sure they slid all the way together.
