  • Works for Compact Flash
Bought as a present for a friend who has a camera that uses compact flash cards and I have been given the thumbs up when I inquired about how it was working. Compact Flash cards require the reader to has a mass of small pins that fit into the compact flash card's corresponding sockets. Cheap pins would bend easily in the card reader, which is a complaint for the inexpensive readers and why I didn't go cheap. 5 Stars based on current use and the general experience of others form multiple sites (benefit of the doubt), unless ever proven otherwise . ... show more

  • Good card reader, easy to mount under a monitor
I really like this card reader because it's easy to mount under a monitor. I used a small piece of Velcro and have this mounted underneath the bezel on my Dell 27". I use this reader with my Sony A6600 camera and it copies the raw photos over very quickly.

  • Disconnects a lot
It was plug and play, But while i had it plugged it for a short time it would continuously disconnect and reconnect, opening a new window each time. Really annoying. First time i used it. Otherwise it transferred my photos fine. Not sure if its a short in the wire, bad wire, bad device? Everything seems to fit correctly. Too bad i kept it in the package for a month+ before using it for the first time. ... show more
