The Traina Home Grown California Dried Whole Black Mission Figs are the best tasting and best priced figs we have found. We get a box (5 lbs) every couple months and stick them in the fridge for healthy snacking and they keep you regular. Our only reservation is that no two orders are the same as far as taste and texture, some are significantly more sweet and moist than others. Our last box was unexpectedly dryer than usual albeit still healthy and edible.

I have ordered these before and they were good quality. The last order was unacceptable and inedible. The figs were dried out, hard and quite sour. I had to throw them away. I am disappointed that a seller thinks it is OK to deliver such poor quality product.

If one looks through each fig, there are some that look fine. But even some that look fine have a sharp or odd taste. Some are really good, but some upset the stomach. The last one I tried tasted moldy, then I quit. Hope to get a refund or another box of all good figs. I contacted Traina and sent them a picture of the bad figs and shipping label. They sent me another box of really good figs. Good company as they stand behind their products, and take care of their customers. am considering ordering more. Yummmmmm!!!

First batch was fresh, soft and succulent. Second batch was essentially fig raisins. Was very sad for me. Fig raisins were not what I wanted but ate them over time anyway. Won't buy again.

I revised my rating due to the best organic figs which I received in my first order with the 5lb size box those were perfect but not the 2lb box those were crap!! It supposed to be organic and you put preservatives!! Why??!!! The moldy ones are the better ones!!! Those white patches on the dry skin of the figs are nutritious fungus called S. Cerevisiae which are prebiotics for your stomach and not bad mold!!! Actually those fungus are the ones that make the figs one of the most antioxidants food ever and gave it the dry texture it has, and you can know it’s organic when you see it, but when you put any preservatives to keep the color shiny and the texture smooth, such as this potassium sorbate they use!!!! you are actually killing all the fungus that lives over the skin and destroying all the benefits of the fruit, which many people think is bad mold!! But it’s not!! Also those fungus are killers for all bad gut bacteria and prebiotics (food) for the good ones so it actually cleans your colon so this is why some people might feel stomach upset or diarrhea this is because those antioxidants cleans the whole out of you!! Please for god sake don’t put any more potassium sorbate in the organic figs!!! Note: I bought the 5lb pack it comes perfect organic with no preservatives. But then I buy the 2 lb pack and it came all with potassium sorbate preservative they say to keep the color!! but that actually destroys the whole benefit of the fruit!! So seems that both sizes are from different suppliers Sousou hope the company keeps both sizes organic with no touch!!!

some of them weren’t fully dried, Very low quality nothing like the other ones I’ve purchased I won’t buy these again waste of money I should’ve spent two dollars more and ordered the ones I got last time they were way better from a different seller not happy with this purchase and throwing them out
