Bought as gift for a big-headed man just in time for the Artic blasts. He really likes it as it works well and is comfy, also the brim is great for keeping sun and snow out of eyes when the snow isn't billowing. It looks great, too.

good hat, 2nd purchase. does the job, fits the head. if it gets colder you can put a piece of fabric up in the top for increased insulation -- felt, leftover wool or cashmere, etc. this is a hard thing to find, many mens hats don't cover ears or fit poorly. this one is predictably good.

Let me just start off by saying this is the hat YOU want. I came across this product just looking for something light but warm to fulfill my outdoor upstate New York winter needs but was I blessed with something so much more. Little did I know it would become a staple of my wardrobe. I would even go so far as to say it has acquired that rare and elusive status of that sentimental hat you can't leave the house without. There is no need it does not fulfill: Multi-functional? Check. Good fit? Check. Stylish? Check. Durable? Check. Timeless? Check. If there is a quality you are looking for in a men's winter hat, this product exceeds all expectations. I have worn it to shovel two feet of snow off my driveway after Northeastern blizzards and found an inner strength never before seen, I have worn it hiking a variety of sweeping Appalachian mountainsides and crushed those summits like none other, hell I've even worn it downtown to the clubs and met my one and only beautiful wife in this here hat. I can't guarantee your soulmate will fall to her knees when you put this on, but I can say you will feel a wave of confidence when you receive it in the mail as if you're a new man ready to go out and make your dreams turn into reality. My husband has always hated to wear 'tight' knitted caps in the winter. He does need something on his head when he's atop in the wind and cold. We finally solved the problem with this trailhead hat. Just the thing. Fits like a ball cap with plenty of warmth. Thanks for a great design
