Sometimes the best inventions are so ridiculously simple you wonder why you didn’t just grab some parts from the hardware store yourself. Two plates, two long screws, some nuts and washers - that’s it! I was literally giggling while installing this because I felt like I was getting away with something. Just replaced my PWC trailer tires and realized I’ve been living dangerously without a spare this whole time. Now one of my old tires is mounted securely to the frame, giving me peace of mind for the price of a decent lunch. Good for the price. A little flimsy in that the flat metal seems to bend, but everything is still holding in a flat horizonal tongue mounting orientation.

The metal plate is thin and weak. When I bolted it to my trailer frame, it bent very easily. Because the nuts are not welded to the end of the bolt rod, everything spins as you try to tighten the nylon nuts down to the tire. It's almost impossible to tighten the nuts to hold the tire in place.. Very disappointing product. ... show more

Lines on brackets do not line up. Bolts are too short. “Lug” nuts are too short if your rim has recessed holes. Brackets/bolts are flimsy.
