This product looks great and was easy enough to install. However it started to fade within the first month of having it. I just replaced it. In my photo it looks okay, but in the sun on my car you can tell that it’s completely faded and is beginning to look blue and white rather than black. It’s only $30 so it’s not the end of the world and obviously it’s not OEM or even ionized so I get it, but it’s a real pain in the ass to have to spend an extra $30 every few months to replace it. I was skeptical about buying this fuel door as cheap as it was, but I’m glad I did! The quality is honestly great, perfect fit and looks much better than the factory chrome one. Also less than half the cost of a new oem one, can’t beat it. Takes 5 minutes to change at home.

    • Really easy to install and changes the aesthetic of your vehicle
Feels of nice quality, easy installation (just watch a YouTube video on it), and changes the aesthetic of the vehicle for the better. My only gripe is that the actual badge that says "fuel" can chafe around the edges of the circle pretty easily. It's not noticeable unless you're really close. All in all I'm very happy with the product oppose to paying a lot more for a genuine Mopar product. ... show more

As far as I can tell, this things looks and feels just like an OEM product. Mine arrived quickly and when I finally got around to installing it, it installed easily and perfectly. Not made of cheap plastic and I feel like it will last forever. Great item for half the price Mopar wants to charge you. Update May 4, 2020 - Okay it's been installed for 3 months and it's already starting to fade to grey. Before it was installed I added a paint sealant to it. After it was installed the entire car was ceramic coated including the fuel door. Still fading. ... show more

    • Super easy to install- it's plastic though not matte painted if that's an issue for you.
Purchased this for my son. He said you can lift the wheel well plastic where it touches the rear fender in front of the tire and slip your hand up under there and figure out how to remove the chrome one on your Car then open your gas cap lid- swap them out easily because the thing sort of pops right in there. I dont think he used any tools to change it! What I did notice is it's plastic and not painted so it looks like something that could possibly scratch easily. We just don't know yet. I think a matte painted one would be more ideal but my son really was happy to get rid of the chrome one that came with the car. ... show more

The quality feels OK, easy enough to install although you may need to raise the left rear a bit if you have an SRT or Scat Pack model. I do notice that there is a slight gap at the bottom where it doesnt quite fit flush with the quarter panel, and the logo decal is slightly off level. I would reccomend buying OEM if details like this concern you, as I will. ... show more

The removal of the old and install of the new is the same regardless of which product you're installing. So it comes down to price and quality. This is one is about 1/2 the price of OEM and it's a Quality built, solid product.
