This is a product used quite a bit for we have a singer in our household and Throat Coat is a must-have in our house for pre-performance prep and after-show soothing. Additionally, it is our go-to for any colds or sore throats. The flavor is decent (even for kiddos) and we usually don't have to add much in the way of a sweetener to be able to consume. We bought this item in a crunch online as we didn't have time to hit the store, but we did pay more than we would've at the store. If you're allergic to elm, be sure not to get 1) The version that says "Slippery Elm" on the front of the box OR 2) THE EUCALYPTUS version. The eucalyptus version only mentions slippery elm bark in the list of ingredients, so it's easy to miss. That being said, Throat Coat is a great product for relief from a sore throat. I do recommend the product; I just want to be sure that people with elm allergies get the right version. ... show more
