Net seems well made. The net is stretched a bit tight around the hoop. The length is nice. Good price point. Negatives would be as previously mentioned, it could use a better coat of finish. The taper of the handle to a flat edge at the end is a bit bizarre. A better coat of finish, don’t taper the handle or flare it, and a deeper net would result in a 5 star product. ... show more

I like this net. The tapered end is perfect for slipping the handle down & into Simms "fly weight" waist belt I use with waders. I am tall so the length is no problem. I sprayed a few coats of marine spur poly clear coat gloss over the wood to give it added quality and finish over a" lacking"j china coat. I added inch marks under my poly coats to measure any trophies. Looks great. Will see how it holds up but for the price I am happy with the result. ... show more

I have yet to use this net but it looks great, feels great and comes at a great value. Not so worried about scraping it on rocks at this cost. Netting is deep and this net should handle up to a 24” trout. The handle is 15” long and is marked at 5” and 10” for easy measuring.

The media could not be loaded. Beautifully made net. Good finish & craftsmanship. The basket is secured firmly & has small holes so ypu won't lose small catch. The basket has not torn apart despite other reviews. Packaging was somewhat poor but I lucked out with a damage-free net. It's handled some large fish from a popular, blue ribbon lake. I prefer the shape of this basket, lands em great! Awesome net for the price! ... show more

Had this net for a few weeks needed one for carp fishing. It’s deep, the finish is nice and it’s super light in my fishpond summit pack. I’ve put about 20 carp in it ranging from A few pounds to 11#. Ive never had a problem with the fish not fitting in the net or felt that it wasn’t up to the task of lifting the fist. The net had held up so far the holes are actually smaller and more round than they look like on the picture which I was happy about. If you’re looking for a nice “mid” length landing net that’s not gonna cost 150$ get this net you won’t be disappointed. The ruler is a nice added feature if you care, I don’t because well carp are carp. ... show more

Great value…the wood seamed like it needed to be sealed better. I simply added some thick coat clear coat and now it looks great.
