Super slick and smooth, doesn't seem to stain, and it doesn't take much of this stuff to get the job done right! No need to smother anything in this lubricant, a decent drop and you're good to go. I've noticed that some brands of water based lubes I've used are unbalanced and so are either a bit too thin and watery or a bit too thick and gelatinous, but these folks make theirs perfectly!
