I recently purchased a 2006 Ford Ranger with a manual transmission. The truck is in great shape with relatively few miles, but the rubber pad on the clutch pedal had worn through in spots to the metal. Taking off the worn pad was pretty easy, as it was close to falling off on its own. Putting one of these new pads on took a bit of finesse, but in about five minutes I had it on. I wouldn't want it *too* easy to put on, after all, since that would make it too easy to come off. Really, the fit is perfect, and it appears to match the OEM pad. It's been on there now a couple of weeks, and so far shows no signs of getting loose. And, of course, there's no noticeable wear so far. In short, it's a perfect replacement. The pad on my brake pedal is still fine, so I haven't tried replacing that. I have no reason to believe, however, that were I to do so, my experience would be the same. Bought for my 2000 Ford Ranger xlt. 4 cylinder, manual transmission. These work perfectly. They look factory, fit snuggly, no wiggle or play. After 23 yrs, my factory installed ones had become stiff and brittle. Clutch pad was breaking off in chunks. These are tough but pliable. Feels like tire rubber. To install I hooked one side over the pedal and then stretched the pads over the remaining corners. Once in place they don't move on the pedal at all. ... show more

Fits very well, recommend warming them up a little as the rubbers pretty hard. Lamb in the sun for a little while or put a near a heater. You don't want to tear them but they do fit snug.

They work and do what they are supposed to do. Just a piece of thick, grooved rubber. Not the easiest thing in the world to take the old ones off and put these on, but then again if it was too easy I guess they would slip off the clutch and break pedals.

Fit great on a 1996 Ford Ranger four banger. Pretty tough to initially get them over the metal pedals, but if you work at them with a flathead screwdriver you can pull the lip around easy and they aren’t going anywhere.
