For the quality you really can't beat the price. The airbrush has a nice weight to it and doesn't feel cheap at all. It has a consistent flow and is very easy to clean. The compressor is relatively quiet and compact (the matte black finish is a nice touch). The hose that comes with the kit is of good quality as well. The only down side I can see is that the dual action lever on the airbrush can be a bit fiddly for a beginner, but with practice you find a comfortable hand position. Overall, it's a great starter kit with all of the essential. Would have been nice to have the paint include a black and white for color mixing. It does come with a small bottle of cleaner so you can't be too choosy, especially when you consider the price. ... show more

Original review: - Item leaks air all the time from airbrush. Took apart cleaned and reseated everything and still leaks non stop also pulsates the spray media no matter the pressure setting, needle setting or needle choice. Not to mention item description shows dual action airbrush and braided hose with threaded connectors which this item is not. Save your money and go buy the Avanti system at harbor freight. Great reviews from avid airbrush users and a great system for beginners. Definitely not this item. Do not buy. Edit: 1/19/23- returned item on 1/18/23. Seller contacted me and is apparently sending me another to try. I will change my review to a more positive review if item works as promised. Edit: 1/24/23- received replacement item. Packaged well. Came with everything shown in pictures. I was happy they sent a real hose that threaded onto the pump and the brush not just a cheap rubber hose that pushed onto each item. Pump seems solid and when running is quite quiet. Only down side is it shuts off once it reaches its working pressure then turns back on when you open the air valve on the brush thus causing air pressure dips and spattered paint. But once the pump starts running it did a pretty good primer coat. One of the items included os a small nozzle wrench. Not sure why Itโ€™s not needed for this gun as they are compression fit similar to the Iwata eclipse but having a small rubber o ring to seal them. I tried the ability of of the pump that came with this unit for fine lines with no success but as I said it laid down primer using its .02 needle and nozzle that was already installed in the brush when I received it. I would suspect that the larger needles/nozzle set ups would even cover better and quicker. -When brush was hooked up to my larger tank itโ€™s worked well making small lines with the .02 set up. All in all I would use this as a primer and large area paint brush. Good for those types of jobs in a small easy to pack small package. Just be aware the included pump will definitely make a mess of any fine work with your project due to the pressure fluctuation mentioned above. If while using the item longer I find how to get better results I will post them here and up my stars accordingly. ... show more

TLDR -- not a dual action air brush and needs better instructions. After writing my first review and saying that this was, in fact, not a dual action airbrush, it appears they have updated their description, but not their photos. It always sprays a small amount of air and the paint is adjusted with a knob on the back. That makes adjustments simple enough IF you know what type of air brush you're working with and have some basic instructions. The instructions that come with this, if you can call them that, don't even show the same airbrush. The system is pretty quiet. That was welcome after using a full size compressor. I don't care much for the water separator thing as it just seems unnecessary and it makes the air brush feel strange to hold. However, if you're just starting out and this is your only experience I'm sure you'll be fine. The cleaning kit being included was very nice. I used primer and it was going well until I was almost done and then it splattered my piece. Thankfully it is just primer and not final detail work on a piece I spent hours painting. Perhaps it works better for cake decorating or with inks? As one of the other reviewers mentioned, when I was unhappy and left my first review they contacted me immediately about taking it down and I accepted a new machine to reevaluate. This one is better than the first one. Hopefully I just got a dud the first time and there was just a clog because I had been using it for more than a couple minutes without cleaning it. Again, that's where instructions that tell you you need to clean an airbrush every 3-5 minutes and you can't let the reservoir go dry or you get clumps and spattering would be helpful. It is reasonably inexpensive and if you are just using it for priming or base coating miniatures or some other less precise application then it should be fine. I haven't tried to do precision work with it. Compared to my better gun and compressor I don't think detail will be its strong suit. Give it a try though. Their customer service is VERY enthusiastic about making sure you are satisfied with your product. Maybe even a little too enthusiastic. I think we're over 100 emails from them now. ... show more

Update: Customer service is top notch. They contacted me and refunded my money. The product still isn't worth it in my opinion. I have changed the rating just for the customer service only. I purchased this in hopes of using it indoors for small air brush projects. I have a large compressor in my garage but it's too cold to paint out there. This compressor is listed at 35 psi at max pressure with a working pressure of about 20-25 psi. That is a gross overstatement. Working pressure is more like 10-15 psi. It barely sprays water. It's more like an aquarium air pump. After giving up on the compressor I figured I'd at least save the air brush since it came with different size needles and paint cups. Nope! The needles are junk and not hardened. They are easily bent. ... show more
