  • Card is smaller than my PCIe slot, but works perfectly!
Style: AC600 Dual-Band WiFi Card
I bought this to add wifi capability to my Dell Optiplex 5060 SFF PC that I got, used, thru a non-profit organization. I was initially a bit worried that it wouldn't fit, because the receiving bay is actually longer than the length of this little card. But I tried it anyway and the PC turned on without frying itself, and everything works so far with no issues! This item comes with a tiny CD, from which you must download the drivers, aka tiny bits of software that tell a piece of hardware how to work. You can't skip this step! The PC I have still has a physical CD-ROM drive, and its tray has a tiny press-to-lock mechanism for the central hole of a CD, so I didn't have to move the box from its upright position just to keep the tiny CD from falling out. I followed the instructions on the included little booklet, including how to download the drivers properly, and install the SFF 70mm bracket to fit the narrow case, and it all worked like a charm! The wifi router is in another room, separated by one wall and a full floor of the house, but the distance is less than 10 feet directly, so I don't know the functional max range of the receiver. I'm totally happy with this set-up, and I'll just keep hoping that the empty spot in the slot on the mobo doesn't have any ill effects later! Fingers crossed! ... show more

  • Great WiFi card to add to computer without built-in WiFi
Style: AC1300 Dual-Band WiFi Card
This is the V2 of the WiFi card. Purchased 9/2/23. I had no issues at all installing this card and having it work without any problems. All I did was use the current drivers from the website. And then reboot after. Nothing else. No device manager tweaking or any other WiFi changes on my computer or router/modem. Using Windows 10 and with whatever updates were available as of this date. The big selling point for me with this particular card was not needing that additional FUSB connection that most of these WiFi cards require for some reason. My motherboard doesn't have that. And also that huge heatsink! I went from getting 72mbps download, 15 mbps upload -- with a wired Centurylink DSL connection. to T-Mobile 5G, wireless -- 492 mpbs download, 106 upload. The ping and latency are higher than a wired connection, but that doesn't bother me. ... show more

  • I have ordered 5 of these cards! Wow.
Style: AC1300 Dual-Band WiFi Card
I was looking at my purchase history to find a driver for this card and realized I had purchased five of these for various builds over the last year and a half! I really love these cards. They are very reliable and easy to install. I’ve never had any stuttering problems with the cards while playing games over Wi-Fi. They just work. If your motherboard does not have Wi-Fi I would recommend this card all day long. ... show more

  • Works As Intended.
Style: AC1300 Dual-Band WiFi Card
Simple setup process. for people that do not have internet access to their computer before you install it. it may, or may not have an impact on how easy it is to set up. If you have a disk drive, good for you, but for the people who don’t have a disk drive, you may or may not be screwed. I just went to their website and looked up V model and looked up “drivers“ along side with it, so that way I could get it up and running. ... show more

  • Great wifi card for small tower
Style: AC600 Dual-Band WiFi Card
I bought a small Dell tower to use in my office where I do not have ethernet. The tower did not have WiFi built in, but it did come with a cheap USB WiFi adapter. With this adapter, I was getting 20 MBPS down and .1 MBPS up. I knew that this was not what I should be getting, so I hopped on Amazon and ordered the first TP-Link adapter I saw: this one. I just popped it in the computer and turned it on, and it worked great! I was now getting 50 down and 10 up. Better! However, once I downloaded the drivers from the TP-Link website, I was getting 400 MBPS down and 20 MBPS up. Much better! TLDR- great wifi card if you download the drivers from TP-Link! ... show more

Style: AC600 Dual-Band WiFi Card
I make builds often and use these and they for sure do the trick, they get decent enough signal and dont cost very much. I like they they are on sale often and its one of the few reliable pcie cards that I found that all work with no issues. I size is good and it comes with a low profile adapter that is easy to change out with just two screws. ... show more

  • Been a while but still going strong.
Style: AC600 Dual-Band WiFi Card
Nothing bad to report, this was a less expensive option for me and it fits my purpose. Streams fast enough for me and has been reliable on my Dell PC. Nice that it came with the low profile bracket as a option.
