  • Provides safety
Style: Garage/Driveway Mirror
It was a little tricky to find the correct location I also had to put larger screws with larger tops to prevent the smaller wood screws from slipping through. But they worked and mirror is steady and gives me a good view of any oncoming vehicles.

We put them up right away and I just love being able to see every corner.

  • A little too convex.
Style: Garage/Driveway Mirror
A light weight, plastic mirror and enclosure with a fairly sturdy, mounting bracket other than drilling into concrete it was easy to install, and seems like it would be good for a wide angle view however, it was too wide an angle for my application, which was to see if I was centered in the doorway while backing out of the garage. ... show more

  • I will buy a couple more of these.
Style: Garage/Driveway Mirror
For those short on time: The mirror exceeds the expectation for an item at that price. It's definitely good for home use. It probably covers most of light commercial use applications too. I will buy more of these for our home. That being said, if you expect hail, heavy storm, big rigs, or fork lifts taking a swipe at this item on a regular basis, you may want to shop for a mirror with a metal housing. No need for you to read the remainder of this paragraph. But if used for what plastic molded mirror mounts can reasonably stand up to, I think this product is as good as it gets. Here are my reasons: 1. Good packaging: It came properly packaged in a solid cardboard box inside the (additional) Amazon Box. (no picture, tossed before I decided to write a review.) The mirror surface itself is protected by a foil. 2. Not skimpy on addons: It comes with a set of four nice wall anchors. 3. Good concept: The mirror is plastic, which makes it light. The mount is properly coated, heavy steel. Obviously, someone must have put some thought into this. 4. Good design and finish of the plastic parts: I am by no means an expert in transfer molding. But I have seen how it's done and listened to experts in Far East and here in North America. So, without taking the mirror apart I looked at how the screws are seated. And I must say, I have a very good impression of the design and manufacturing quality. Another detail is the swivel joint. It moves very smoothly, very little friction. Someone must know the plastic shrinkage very well to come up with a design like this. Well done. Some users may find it to easy to move by accident. I suggest using a dab of hot glue to hold it in place, if really needed. Hope to you find this review helpful. ... show more

  • New Car (Almost too big for garage door opening
Style: Garage/Driveway Mirror
Unfortunately the mirror is a little too small for me to utilize properly (and at night headlights reflect in such a manner to prevent me from seeing at all (and no space to adjust otherwise)!

  • Does a great job covering big blind area coming out of my driveway/
Style: Garage/Driveway Mirror
I was so pleased to find that this mirror covers a major blind spot driving out of my driveway. Cause of the blind spot is because my neighbor has to have 5 cars between him and his wife. The vehicle that is the culprit is their huge SUV which is always parked next to my driveway, making it impossible to see if any vehicles are approaching. This mirror solves the problem. I would like to know why so many people have so many vehicles. ... show more

  • This company stands behind their products with great service.
Style: Garage/Driveway Mirror
This mirror primarily consists of a convex plastic mirror, a black plastic housing, and a metal arm. All three of these components are of respectable quality. The mirror is held to the black housing by an internal cylindrical shape made of firm, black, foam rubber. This rubbery cylinder has adhesive on both ends. One end glues to the housing, and the other end glues to the center back of the mirror. A few hours after I installed the mirror assembly, the mirror had fallen to the concrete below. The adhesive had given way from the black plastic shade. I stuck it back together, thinking that perhaps it had simply been clumsily assembled. Nope, within minutes it had fallen again. I disassembled the housing until I could insert screws through the back of the housing into the rubbery cylinder. That held for a few days, but then the mirror was again on the concrete. This time the adhesive had failed at the other end. I drilled a hole in the center of the mirror and screwed it to the black cylinder and housing. I now have a functioning mirror, although it is scratched up from its many falls and has the head of a screw visible in the center of the mirror. It was not excessively hot or windy in the location of the mirror, nor is the building to which it is mounted subject to vibration. I can only conclude that the adhesive is at fault. Update: The company responded to this 2-star review by sending me a whole new mirror, and from this one I can see where the failure happened. The convex mirror is supposed to snap into a channel around the edge of its housing. The adhesive is not intended to support the weight of the mirror, and so it is not surprising that it failed. The problem was that on my first mirror, the mirror had not been snapped into place. This is an error of assembly, not material quality. I imagine that such build quality issues are rare. I just got lucky. I can happily increase my rating from 2 stars to 5, and I can recommend this company and their mirror to anyone. ... show more

  • Parking anxiety reducer!
Style: Garage/Driveway Mirror
Why did we not get one of these years ago? Our garage is very narrow and to get out of the driver's side, you must hug the right side of the garage as much as possible. We have a horizontal bar rack along the right side made of PVC that sticks out about 5". I'm always super anxious about hitting it as I pull in not knowing how close I am (after being overly confident hitting it and denting my upper fender once). Problem solved! My reason for knocking off one star is the screws to mount don't seem appropriate. They don't expand once in the wall so they can easily be pulled out. Perhaps we installed wrong but a command strip as well. The mirror is lightweight so hoping it doesn't fall but overall happy with this purchase. Note, the instructions are on the box so keep it until you install. It also came with a nice note from the small business seller. ... show more
