Perfect fit for OEM filter.
The filter was a perfect fit and I was glad to see that it was an OEM product, the only thing was the plastic piece to insert into the filter housing was a little tough to get it, I read that some of the others this piece would screw in which would make it easier, but it worked. The price was good in that I bought two of them for about $15 so I have one for the next oil change. I would buy this again. Thanks.

Toyota Product - Perfect!!
These were the actual Toyota product and worked perfectly on my Rx450h! Instructions were easy to understand as were the videos, some here and some on other platforms. You do need a wrench or breaker bar and a metal oil filter removal tool. You should also have a torque wrench to torque it to the correct specifications but I rarely see Lexus or Toyota doing that. However, most of them likely know by feel. Mine was on tighter than a banjo string. What I did find easier, as some reviews mention, is the metal screw in adjustable drain sold separately on Amazon. You screw it in and then twist to open the drain. I didn’t use the optional tube as it was too long.

Genuine Toyota filter
I purchased these filters to verify if they are genuine Toyota parts, and they are. But you can pickup identical filters at the local dealer for 20% less. So these are safe alternative if not within reasonable driving distance to Toyota dealer
