Color is on point, I got the "Star Sapphire". Fit is true to size. Length is a little longer than shown. I'm 5'8" and ordered the L/XL and it falls mid to lower calf. The weight is perfect in my opinion and the material is heavy enough to hold structure but not too warm. Mine does have an inner tie which surprised me because many reviews said there wasn't one. Definitely would order again.

My mom always complains that she can only ever find fleece or terry bathrobes that are too bulky, too hot, and too hard to move around in. If you don't want bulky/fluffy, the only other option is usually silky/slinky--and short. I was glad to find this and bought it for her in the Blushing Bride shade (pink is her favorite color). I was pleasantly surprised enough that I came back and bought myself one in Loganberry. Pros: *The weight: nice weight for year-round wear. It's light but substantial--not flimsy or thin, not thick and bulky. *The belt: At first I wasn't sure about the attached belt, but now I've gotten spoiled on just grabbing my robe off the hook knowing that the belt is right where it's supposed to be every time. Not lost in the laundry, not dragging behind on the floor. *The length: I'm 5'4", mom is 5'6", and this robe is a nice length for both of us. It hits about mid-shin on me. The super-short silky robes that barely cover your butt are well and good for date night, but they're not practical for daily wear. This is long enough to step out for the mail and short enough that mom doesn't trip on it and fall on her face. Cons: these are very minor *No inside tie: the waffle weave and fabric texture help this stay closed with only the outside belt most of the time, but an inside tie would be nice for when you're moving around a lot, raising your arms, like drying your hair or doing laundry. It still stays put pretty well without it. *No 3/4 sleeve option: I personally don't care about this, but some people (including mom) prefer a robe with shorter sleeves so the cuffs don't get wet if they're doing dishes or washing their hair. These sleeves roll easily enough and the waffle weave helps it stay up. *More colors: There's a pretty good selection, but some more choices would be nice for gifting/different seasons. Overall I can highly recommend this robe is you're looking for something in between short 'n sexy and big 'n bulky, that's practical and comfy without being frumpy.

I purchased two of these robes in different colors and sizes. I'm using them as guest robes, so friends and family don't have to travel with a big bulky bathrobe when packing a suitcase. I bought the small/ medium for women and I'm 5'4, 135, and it's comfortable and roomy...not overly big. The Lg/XLG is really big and too roomy for me, but perfect for a man, which is how I wanted the sizing. I have them hanging on the back of my guest bathroom door. Now about the robes. The weight is perfect; just right for all year long. The long sleeves will be perfect on a man and women will want to roll theirs up. The overall length is well below the knee; where? depending on how tall you are, but gives plenty of coverage. It has two pockets on the front and comes with an extra long belt. And when it comes to washing, they come out beautiful. I washed them in cold water and used fabric softener the first time and will continue to do the same in the future. They were soft right out of the package, and even softer after washing and drying, and hardly any wrinkles. I may touch them up with a iron...or not. And being cotton I figured they would shrink...not so, at all. The waffle texture is very pretty and looks like the expensive hotel robes I've worn. And because the weight is not too heavy, but not too light, they are the perfect robe for you or your guest. Oh, one more thing. The cost. I've looked online everywhere for quality robes and others were so overpriced. For the money you can't go wrong. Your guests will think you spent a fortune, or "got them from a hotel". Amazon, thanks for a great product!

I can wear this and forget it. Washed well. It is a grey color so I wore without washing (no problems). Post wash it feels as good as new. I have not judged absorbency. It feels like a cotton garment - 'sturdy comfort.' It's not a 'soft' fabric but for me, just right. Well made. Would buy again. It may not take me thru the winter so I'll be looking for another weight if necessary. (South CA, 5 miles from coast.)

I was looking for a new bathrobe that would be flattering, comfortable, and functional. After shopping for awhile I found this robe and was surprised to see that it was rated as one of the best available to by another website. That review gave me the confidence to order, and I'm glad that I did! As other reviewers have said it has a roomy (but not over-sized) fit, good drape, and stays closed well.It keeps me covered for lounging, post-shower, and whatever else I need to do. The material has a soft texture and medium weight, not too heavy or too thin, and seems to be of very good quality. A huge improvement over the baggy, too-hot, easily snagged terry cloth one I had been using! This robe looks refined, grown up, and a little bit vintage. It doesn't gap or drag or make me look bigger than I am ( I'm 5'1" and wear small-medium sizes). It is not too bulky to pack for travel, and you'll want to take it everywhere. I will say that you should carefully follow the washing instructions, I dried mine on medium heat rather than low and it did shrink very slightly. Still works fine and I wont make that mistake again, this robe is a great value and exactly what I wanted.

I’d have returned this robe except I washed it, hoping it would soften up. It didn’t. I ordered XL because I know some of these run small. It’s huge. I’ll save it for guests. Order the Turquaz instead.
