Back in the day, Victoria’s Secret used to make the best bathrobes… They would have a whole wall of different colors of long 100% cotton terry cloth bath robes, and they were light enough that you weren’t boiling hot wearing them at night but they were thick enough that they were perfect after a shower and kept you warm. Back in the day they were about 100 bucks but it would last you for a few years before you had to buy another one. Nowadays, when you search for robes most of the time, it’s that polar fleece material which are artificial fabrics and for me because I’m in menopause, it would make me boiling hot. When you’re 50 years old and in menopause trust me, you need to wear all cotton clothes that’s breathable or your hot flashes are 100 times worse. But anyways the robot I bought before actually weather in weeks started to shred. I bought one from the seller on this site and it was cheap, so I can’t really complain, but it look like crap after a couple of weeks. So I was on a search for another robe, and I found this one which I liked because it was only kneelength because I’m only 5 feet tall and a lot of times, I would buy robes and they’re dragging on the ground or they’re just about hitting the floor. But this robe is not only a perfect size but the terry cloth which is 100% cotton hasn’t frayed there’s no strings hanging out I’ve had it for a little while now and it still looks great and when this one wears out I have it marked who sells them and I’m just gonna buy another one. I would 150% recommend buying this road if you’re looking for an old fashion 100% cotton terry cloth robe.

The reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is the color in the product photo is more of a blue but not “Blue Iris”. So make sure you know what color “B. Iris” is. It’s not blue, it’s more like a purple. The second reason is that the robe is not soft. I washed it befote using and that took away all the softness. It is still okay though. I like the length and fit.

This is a little heavier than what I was looking for, but it is actually made out of real terry cloth. It is absorbent so it doesn’t make you sweat like the softer fake terry cloth material. So glad I finally found a robe that is real towel material.
