best guitar in the world. i paid 65$ for a black one, painted it white, installed some p90s and a new bridge, and next im getting a really nice neck for this thing. the guitar is great right out of the box but where it really shines is as a mod platform. the body is eco composite which is more sustainable, more durable, and way louder than any traditional wood body. i am confident that this body will never crack or get damaged from moisture. it's lightweight and extremely loud acoustically for an electric guitar. the stock pickups are decent but the body is routed so you can add any pickups you want. get this guitar. upgrade it as you play. keep it forever. ... show more

I've been playing and working on my own guitars for over 30 years. I bought this guitar on prime day as a gift for my 18-year-old daughter's friend so they can learn to play guitar together. My first impression is that it is very light, resonant, seems well put together, and is way more than I would expect for $75 with tax. I tuned it and played it for an hour today and as far as I could tell it needs nothing. I didn't put a fret rocker to it, but I played scales across the neck, played open and barre chords, and generally just played songs for an hour. Good guitar. Excellent value. ... show more

For the record, I'm an experienced guitarist and have owner a wide variety of high-end, mid-level, and "budget" guitars over the years. And I but can't seem to put this guitar down - it is really fun to play and does not limit my ability. I bought this Tostar HSS 112 strat copy as a modding platform - I was going to swap in some expensive PRS pickups that I had laying around. But the pickups in the Tostar sound so good, that I decided to keep them in. I don't particularly like single coil pickups but these have a really quacky, retro, and sweet sound that is unique - not high end but strangely satisfying. The humbucker sounds great too in a similar way. All 5 positions give a different cool sound and it only weighs 5.5 pounds! I even got a 15% discount on the day I actually bought one. I do not agree with "Jacob L" who left a 2 star review. He's being way too picky for a guitar in the $100 price range. The sharp fret ends and other imperfections are very easy things to fix or adjust. Compared to other budget guitars, the sound is very pleasing and I like it much better than the Squier Debut (which I returned). Crazy how some of these cheap import guitars can sound so good. It's also a GREAT modding platform because it's so lightweight. The neck was straight and very comfortable to play. The action and intonation were very close to perfect and easy to adjust. I don't think you can go wrong with this guitar unless you get a lemon - and if so you can always return it. ... show more

What a nice guitar for the price. Would just be nice if you were able to get any Customer Support. Not that you expect a lot at this price but to simply ignore you not acceptable. Other brands have decent support.

Great starter guitar or extra practice guitar! Got this during Prime Day for $69, but it's a steal at its regular price. Lightweight with great action. Sounds great with the humbucker. Probably played it for six hours the night I got it.
