I’m so on the fence about this one. I love it, it’s super cute, it’s good quality… but it runs a little small and the elastic on the built in bra is kind of cheap and VERY tight. It digs in and leaves red marks. (As shown in the photo, that’s a photo taken from the side. I don’t normally shop at torrid, I’m barely a size 14, which is the smallest they carry, but this and the jeans I got were too cute. (And I love the jeans btw). The material of this is soft, and not compressive. (Meaning it hangs ever so slightly loose. The built in bra is super compression though. Which would be alright if they’d used a smoother elastic. A different elastic would make this five stars. But I can’t in good conscience give this five stars when it makes my skin look like it does in the photo. My skin burned for awhile after I took it off because it had rubbed it so raw. I’m thinking maybe wearing a thin, bandless sleep bra underneath it might help, just to put a barrier between my skin and the elastic. (Shouldn’t have to do that with such a pricey brand). But you can see in the photos how cheap the elastic is and how rough the stitching is around the elastic. Sizing up one full size might help a little bit, but with the elastic not being covered by any fabric and the stitching being so rough, I think it would still leave a mark. For reference I am 5’10, 190 lbs, 41” chest, 34” waist, and normally wear a women’s xl. Bra size 40B. I got the size 1 in this (which is supposed to be a 14 plus, which is crazy because I wear a size 14 in my lulu lemon bras, and they fit fine, and that brand tends to run a tad bit small).

This is a cute brami, which is a word I learned from this particular order. Apparently bra plus cami. I'd say the fit is true to size. I got a 3X but am in between that and a 2X on top and could wear either, but the smaller size would be more supportive. The support is all through the shelf bra, which I like for loungewear around the house. It's not super supportive if planning to go out, and the girls aren't clearly separated, so whether you're comfortable with that in public is your call. The length is cropped, which was a little awkward for a fat person since it wants to ride up over the tummy. I'm not comfortable wearing a cropped look outdoors, but I think it's the kind of thing that would look cute with high-waisted bottoms. The fit was comfortable. Sometimes cropped shirts and camis are like sausage casings, but this one was looser and felt great for sleeping. One thing I don't personally like is the synthetic knit fabric of the outer layer. Something about the texture gives me the ick. But it's soft and smooth and looks nice. I'm feeling about 3.5 stars for this and will round up to be nice since I'm guessing I'm too old to be the target market. I think the regular price is high for the value but at a discount this would be a nice addition as loungewear, sleepwear, or an easygoing athletic-style look.
