I should start off by saying this is my third Torras case. My first was an older version of this case that I had purchased when we got my son an iPad Air M1 and it exceeded my expectations. I was looking for something that had a built-in stand that was sturdy and I didn't want something that would add bulk to a premium item like an iPad. Although it was for my son, I wasn't too worried about impact resistance because we've taught him to be careful with his stuff. We did try one of those cases made for kids and they were huge and honestly, the stands were junk. That's what led me to search for something better. I had never heard of Torras before, but I noticed they had a different design than all the others on Amazon. The stand is super sturdy and it stays in the position you put it. We liked that case so much that we purchased an updated version of the Torras case for my daughter when we got her an iPad Air M4. The design was very similar, but they had redesigned how the Apple Pencil was held on which made the case even less bulky. Otherwise, it was the same high quality case that we were used to. We decided to upgrade my son to an iPad Air M4 as well and we noticed that Torras released a new version of the case again. It looked very similar to the design of my daughter's case with some minor changes. We've been using it for a week and all I can say it that it's an upgrade in every way. Torras has changed the material that the sides of the case are made of. Now it's more like a bumper case on the edges which I assume adds a little bit of impact resistance as well as helping it grip on whatever surface you are placing it on. Also, this same material has been added to the fold out stand. This is greatly appreciated because now I don't have to worry about the metal stand scratching a wood table. In addition, the volume buttons are slightly different as well. I would say they feel more tactile and are easier to find. One last thing I noticed is that the back now has feet made out of the same grippy material. This helps give the iPad some stability when laying flat on a table. We were a little worried about the redesign of the Apple Pencil holder, but so far it's been great. The pencil is held deep enough where it hasn't been an issue with it coming loose. I've included some pictures showing the new case alongside the previous versions. I know some people thing we are a little extra for getting our kids iPads, but I like my kids to have the best, so why not have the best case as well.

I’ve tried a lot of iPad mini cases over the years and one of my biggest frustrations has always been the slot for the Apple Pencil. I often use my iPad on the go and don’t always have the Apple pencil attached, holding it in portrait mode used to feel awkward and uncomfortable due to that open cutout. This case completely fixes that problem! It includes a clever little rubber insert that fills the pencil slot perfectly when you’re not using it, making the iPad comfortable and smooth to hold again. It’s such a simple touch but it makes a huge difference. The attention to detail on this case is fantastic. Every cutout from the power button with Touch ID to the charging port, speakers and mic are all precise and perfectly aligned. The tactile volume buttons feel great to use and there’s even a raised lip around the screen for added protection when placing the iPad face down. The small textured nodules on the back not only improve grip on table but also protect the camera lens, a thoughtful touch. The dual stand is easily one of the most premium I’ve experienced. The hinges feel smooth yet sturdy, giving a refined, high-quality feel while keeping the iPad secure at any angle. Whether I’m typing, watching videos, or switching between portrait and landscape, the stand offers complete flexibility and excellent stability, even on softer surfaces. It’s pure satisfaction every time I use it. If you are in the market for a well thought out case that compliments your iPad, this is a win.

I purchased the TORRAS Ostand K1 Guardian for my iPad 11 last year in 2025. At the time, there were a couple of things I didn't like about it. (1) It felt heavy, and (2) the most frustrating thing was that the cover was high enough around the edges of the Touch ID pad that I could never get my Touch ID to recognize my fingerprint. I provided this feedback to TORRAS. We went back and forth on a few things. When the new TORRAS Ostand K3 Neo came out, they contacted me and asked if I would try it out and provide feedback. So, here is my honest feedback. (1) It feels lighter and less bulky than the TORRAS Ostand K1 Guardian. Comparing the two, I do not feel that the new Neo offers any less protection. (2) They have addressed the issue with the case surrounding the Touch ID button. I can now use Touch ID without cursing at my case! They have lowered the bevel around the Touch ID button so that it now can easily detect your fingerprint. Thanks TORRAS for addressing that major complaint of mine. (3) The addition of the rubber coverings on the kickstands is nice. It has a soft rubbery feel now to the kickstands (both the large tall and short kickstands) that also provides some grip when placing it on a smooth surface like a kitchen counter or a tray table on an airplane. (4) I like how the Apple Pencil fits nicely into the side of the case. Before on the TORRAS Ostand K1 Guardian it fit into a slot on the top of the case which widened the case making it look bulky. The Apple Pencil slot is now on the side. When not in use, a rubber plug can be fitted into the slot. I did suggest to TORRAS that they make it so that the pencil can fit into the rubber plug and be inserted into the case that way. Otherwise, I'm not sure I won't wind up losing the rubber plug. Overall, I really like the improvements made to the Ostand case. I dig the Glacier Sprint color. I was getting bored of all my accessories being black or gray. If you want a durable case with great functionality, look no further than this Ostand K3 Neo for your iPad.

Color combination is nice. Material feels strong not flimpsy plastic. Fit is exact. If you use Apple brand pencil, it fits perfectly. If you use off brand, it might not (as I found out with mine). The handles support diff viewing angles. Big handle is good for medium size hand. Little handle is not wide enough but I can grasp from it’s just not as comfy as bigger one. I would recommend the manufacturer had included a front cover that could be placed on or off (think Otterbox’s) I bought a screen cover to protect in case of dropping. The case still fits great after placing it on. Overall, a good purchase. I did find the price a bit steep, but not my first Torras item so expected good quality and they delivered.

Size: fits the iPad perfectly! It fits snug in the case but isn’t so tight so you can still take it out of the case if needed. No impeded access to the charging port. The button cutouts also click every time when pressed so no issues there either. Apple Pencil slots in nicely in the provided slot. There is also a rubber insert if you don’t have an Apple Pencil so it just feels flush with the case. Quality: very good quality plastic. The buttons are nice and tactile and offer good feedback when pressed. Hinge for the kickstand is sturdy and the kickstand is coated in a nice rubber so you don’t have to worry about metal scratching other items in your bag (had a problem with a different case in the past like this so the metal being coated in rubber is a HUGE plus for me) Weight: feels nice and balanced. Does not add too much weight to the iPad but still keeps it very protected.

I was really disappointed with the TORRAS Ostand K3 Neo case for the iPad Air 11-inch. The material feels like cheap plastic right out of the box, and it doesn’t give the premium or durable feel you’d expect at this price point. The stand, which is supposed to be a key feature, doesn’t feel very stable and makes me question how well it will hold up over time. Overall, it just doesn’t inspire confidence in terms of protection or longevity. Honestly, this feels like a low-quality product being sold at a higher price. I wouldn’t recommend it—save your money and look for a better-built alternative.

As a fan of my current Torras case, the new one is impressive. It improves over its predecessor by being lighter and my only complaint on the old model was how slick it was. Now the tactile element stops it from sliding like ice across a surface. It looks nice and not as colorful as the pictures, which I am good with. The new buttons have a better look and are easier to find and access. The pencil holder seems to be a better fit and works well. I like the option of having a filler to place there when not having the pencil, but I do worry I could miss-place it. All the speakers, lenses, and USB C port are all perfectly fitted as to not reduce any functionality. The new model covers the twin kick stands with a rubber like material so in addition to not being slippery, they are not as cold to the touch or not as warm if sunlight shining on then would make them. How long the rubber will last under use remains to be seen. Certainly has a quantity look and feel whether you are updating your old model or getting a fresh new look. I think a few more colors are coming.
