I use this bag about 20 times a year on business trips. Our usual trip is Thursday through Monday, although some begin on Wednesday. We're at sheep and wool festivals, so I'm not packing suits - it's jeans, shirts, dopp kit, 2d pair of boots, and all of the personals. Everything fits. Amazing storage capacity. The zippers haven't given me any arguments. The quality of the construction has stood up to everything I threw at from NH to NC to MI. Impressed. I’ve been using the Topo Designs Mountain Gear Bag for a few weeks now, and it has quickly become one of my favorite bags for travel and everyday use. The bag is huge, easily fitting all my gear, groceries, or even items from a quick weekend trip. I love the free-standing design—it doesn’t topple over when I set it down, which makes loading and unloading so much easier. The recycled nylon material feels really durable and abrasion-resistant, so I’m not worried about it getting scuffed or torn even when I throw it in the car trunk or use it outdoors. The stitching and construction are solid, and the bag holds its shape surprisingly well even when it’s not full. The handles are comfortable for carrying, and the overall design is simple, sleek, and functional. This bag is very large. I can store a ton in it. Great for shopping, great for holding large quantities. I keep this in my vehicle for a lot of reasons. The nylon interior makes it great for packing a picnic or food items. Easily fits a slim 10x13 ice pack. Easy to clean out. Has drink holders on both sides for your reusable tumblers. There are nylon strips on the front that allow you to clip your glasses, keys or any kind of carabiner. Includes a shoulder strap as well as shorter carry handles. If you’re interested in this for travel, you should know that there is no trolley sleeve to put over luggage. IMO, it’s too large as a carry on for plane travel. For comparison, I put it next to the topo grab and go bag. That is what I’m using for air travel. This enormous bag is very versatile for so many other uses so I’m happy to have both. ... show more

This tote is a great one. The material and zippers are heavy duty and should last a long time. There are side pouches and a zipper pocket on the front. It also comes with carry handles and a shoulder strap. Two things that I wish were different was that the bottom is only soft material, while I'd prefer some kind of harder base, and this one is a much bigger issue, is the price point. I have to say that IMO, the price point is much higher than I'd be willing to pay for a canvas bag like this (-1 star). I think I'll use this for a winter emergency bag - warm clothes, etc., for when I'm out XC skiing, etc. 4/5 stars ... show more
