Assembling this was really a puzzle. The phlanges don't let you twist the supporting bar in completely--to do so leaves you with misaligned ends that won't screw into the wall. These are all individual components (6 pieces) and you need to figure out the best way to put them together and still get it on the wall, pieces screwed in enough to be reasonably secure, and level. No directions are included in the package. Have fun!

We ordered this more as a disguise to a cover up of a huge hole in the ceiling from the previous owners and it looks great mounted on the ceiling to hang pans.

This is sturdy, black pipe. There are four mounting holes on each side. It will hold your cooking pots if that is what you purchase it for. The hooks that come with it are possibly the weakest point. I would plan on upgrading those if you do plan to hang cookware. The pipe is sturdy enough for cast iron, I wouldn't use the hooks. I purchased this for another purpose. It matches my home office Industrial style. I am using for hanging cords, earphones, etc. Great addition to my decor. I think this piece has a lot of flexibility. I can see these as towel holders, handicap grips, etc. In my home I can think of several ways to put this item to work! Just guessing, I will be a repeat customer.

The media could not be loaded. Amazing, high quality. Perfect for freeing up space in my kitchen. I have a very small kitchen so this not only is functional but it's aesthetically pleasing. came with a ton of s hooks. I only used a few bc I have big pans. The size made it a little difficult to install as only one side could be anchored into a wall stud. The other side was anchored using the included wall anchors. Has been up since June and is sturdy.

Remodeling and wanted to hang some of our cast iron. I got these and they did not disappoint. I used different screws, so I can't say whether the ones it come with are any good. :) They are probably just fine. These have held up for more than a month. Very sturdy. Would definitely recommend.

I didn't have any of the problems of other reviewers -- packaged nicely, so no scratches; when I screwed everything together the alignment was perfect. Well, one exception! In the photo you can see that the four holes are nicely aligned, which means one hole is blocked by the rod. I was only able to use three of the four screws on each side. I don't think this matters.

I have a house built in the 20s and it just fits in perfect. I love the easy of grabbing a skillet and I positioned near my sink and dishwasher so clean up and rehanging is so simple. I could do pull ups is how strong the metal is and the color worked out perfectly. I bought three to line up down the wall. Hanging strainers and other hard to find items including my cast iron pans. No problem with bending or straining on the system.

The media could not be loaded. Good construction. Came with some nicks in the paint to show the silver steel below. I plan to find some black paint to touch it up. When fully tightened the ends are not flush with each other which makes it more difficult to install. The hooks are too long for the space that I have so I had to shorten them in order for the hanging pans to fit.
