I just opened these olive green velvet curtains. I was having a problem getting that true olive green . These are a true olive. I had to return the 1st. Pair as they were like emerald, evergreen or forest color and called olive. They are darker than the picture I am seeing but still perfect for what I am doing. So if you are looking for that olive color this is it. Goodness they are just so lush. Like real velvet texture. The stitching on these is beautiful and I strung them on the broom handle just to see how they would look on the rod and held them up to see how they will drape and all I can say is these are perfect! Hardly any wrinkles and can not see through them. Ordering the rods tomorrow. The price was so reasonable I got an extra pair to make a table cover and some toss pillows. These are perfect if you are going for English cottage look. Very regal looking! All of the colors of these look amazing.

This is my second purchase of these curtains in a different color, off-white. My last ones were the golden color and I absolutely love them. They feel high quality they hang beautifully. I used the I'm hoop in the back to put them on the rod. I tried clips and I didn't like them because they hung too low. So there you go I would highly recommend these in any color. They are not blackout but Good Morning Sun Signs right in this window and they dull that plenty that's it

Blocks out moonlight and street lights really well- at night it is completely dark. In the morning and during the day the sun shines through and they have this beautiful gold/orange color, that makes the room feel so warm and cosy. (This is in Blush Beige). Super soft. They are a little wrinkled, so i might iron them out with a low temp at some point. Definitely recommend.

I ordered the OLIVE GREEN. I wish everyone would state the color in their review since Amazon doesn't fill in the color name automaticlly in the reviews. The color is a true olive green, not forrest or emerald or sage or dark green. True olive. They are slightly darker than the Amazon photos show; for reference I'm using a MacBook Pro. For the price, these are fantastic curtains. I love the velvet texture and because they're somewhat heavy they hang/drape nicely. They are not SUPER heavy, so they don't have that super rich looking weight, but if you're realistic and understand you get what you pay for, you'll be content. I'm using them to divide a huge bedroom and make a "walk-in closet". These work as light-blocking curtains because they are so dark; NOT SURE if you bought a lighter color - pink, cream, light grey, white, etc if they would block all the light. Hope this helps someone in some way.
