Suitable For: 4L60E, 4L60-E, 4L65E, 4L65-E, 4L70E For Pontiac Transmission Shift Solenoid Service Kit Set Filter Gasket A&B. 24230298 shift Solenoid Valve with 24208576 Transmission Filter kit fit for the following vehicles: 2004-2007 Buick Rainier 1999-2006 Cadillac Escalade 2003-2006 Cadillac Escalade ESV 2002-2006 Cadillac Escalade EXT How to install: 1) Disconnect the negative battery cable. Undo the pan bolts to drain the fluid. 2) Locate the old solenoid, disconnect wiring terminal. 3) Insert the new solenoid. 4) Reattach the wiring terminal, transmission pan, refill the fluid. 5) Test the function by starting the vehicle in idle. You will get: 2 x Shift Solenoids 1 x Filter Kit Note: Due to manual measurement, the size may have an error of about 1-10mm.

Arrived in the typical Amazon prime 2 days. And was the correct fit. Didn’t end up fixing vehicles issue but it’s not like it’s going to hurt having the new shift solenoids in and a new transmission filter and gasket.     • Worked great except the gasket
Everything worked great, the gasket was a cheap rubber that shouldn't have been there .. The gasket shown was a cork gasket and that's why I bought it . .. The rubber one provided has leaked and now I have to take everything apart again to replace the gasket with a cork gasket.

Easy to install, messy but easy. Keep loosing pan bolts until fluid stars pouring. The seal from the old filter will get stuck on transmission and needs to get removed before installing new filter. Shift solenoids are an straightforward installation, remove metal clip to take them out. Be gentle when removing electrical clips, they can become very brittle.     • Doesn't fit 1997 GMC safari 2wd
The shift solenoids were completely different and there wasn't anywhere on em for the "external hitch pin" (think 2"x.5" C-clip). The groove was missing so I had to file them out on each. The filter did not fit at all, the pan wouldn't even go back on. It shows , what looks like on my phone, a cork gasket but it was rubber. No big deal, it's just with everything else that went wrong with, what looked like a promising order, was just a bunch of stuff I had to modify to use and it still didn't fix it ... show more

The filter neck was 30 thousands over so I sanded it down and put a chamfer on the tip snaps right in.
