These pillows are very soft...to the point I had to fold them in half to make them into a pillow I could actually sleep on. The cooling aspect does not work if you use a pillowcase. These did not work for me, but my sister (who sleeps on her stomach) love them!

Soft and fluffy but still hold their shape relatively well. I prefer to keep pillowcases on them so I can't comment on the cooling feature but I'm happy with them.

Thin pillow. Not much fluffability. It is cool for about 30 seconds then warm. You have to fluff it to get it cool again. May as well use your own comfy but warm pillow.

These pillows have a really lovely cool feeling, which is perfect for sleep!! They are extremely soft and cozy. But definitely give the pillows a day to expand and they are nice and plush! I do have to agree with another reviewer that perhaps these are best suited for a stomach or back sleeper. I sleep mostly on my side and usually require a firmer pillow for my head and neck. But I do appreciate that you get two pillows, so I can layer them to boost the height and comfort. Or use one under my head and neck and another as a side cushion when I move to sleep on my side. The cooling feature is really the best part of these! I've been sleeping on them for about a week now and I do like them when I get my neck positioned right. As with any good pillow :-) These will be greatly appreciated during the hot summer months to keep my head cooler! ... show more
