This skateboard is pretty cool my son loves it!!! It is a smooth ride with good grips and the controller is great. He did say that when he rides and hits a bump it cause it to stop for a few minutes but that was his only complaint. The speed is decent but not any faster then just a skateboard. I saw a few eh post about this board so i thought after a bit then I will post and honest review and we’ll it’s alr tbh but after like 5 or 6 months later it began to have some small issues like I would be going on medium but it would start slowing a little the all of a sudden going fast which was alr since I had been riding it for some time( and yes the bord and remote was charged) but still was a bit confused on why it was doing that since it never did before but that’s alr for me but one thing that I really didn’t like about this was the remote it felt very cheap quality so I was a bit taken aback but I didn’t care that much but then the speed control would get stuck on brake and speed sometimes and would be hard to switch in between which was a safety concern and I even had a few instances were a car would be coming my way and I wouldn’t be able to stop so I would have to jump off but then my board would just crash and get chipped which didn’t really look good. Over all . Safe 🫡 not really . Easy to ride 🙃 gotta practice a little while holding something but yea sure . Quality 😶 remote horrible but u can buy a new one which is like 21$ the board is alr but the wheels could have been better designed so it’s meh . For beginners😵 HECK NO but if u do decide to get this as a beginner than make sure to wear a helmet and some knee and elbow pads. . Worth the money🫤 sure but no bec when I got it it was like 289$ which with tax added about to 300$ So I would expect the quality to be a bit better and wouldn’t expect it to have problems in less than a year sooooo……. It is so smooth it looks amazing! Very sturdy construction and rides smooth and quiet. I never feel like I would fall off. It's well built, easy to connect, and has a fast charge that lasts long. I've ridden other people's electric skateboards and I've never felt more safe and comfortable than I do on this brand new skateboard of my own. I travel to the skate park in record time now when before, it used to take a very long time. The lights work fantastic to light my pathway home at night when it's dark. I bought this skateboard for my two kids (6 and 9) to play on the street of our gated community. That was about 8 days ago. Since then, it has been used daily not only by my kids, but by all their neighbors who ring the bell 3 times a day to see if my kids will come out to play with them and (of course) bring the skateboard along. If you look at the skateboard now, it looks as if it was 6 months old from all the use it has endured! Now for the real review: This is a very nicely made skateboard with good quality components. The electric engine is in one of the back wheels and the battery pack is in the bottom, not too heavy and only about 3/4" thick. The engine is controlled with a small and light remote, which is USB rechargeable. The remote has a wheel that rotates about a quarter each way, for forward and backward motion. There is also a power button and a 3 position switch (slow, medium and fast). You use the skateboard by getting on it and rotating the controller wheel forward to move. The propulsion is nicely done, so the rider won't lose balance, and it works very well, making the skateboard easy and fun to use. The reverse power can be used to slowly slow down, but that is a bit harder to do as it needs to be counterbalanced with the body or you will fall forward. Charging of the skateboard is done by plugging the battery pack to a charger. I have not tried to time how long it takes to charge, but my kids just bring it back and leave it charging when they are not using it, so it's always fully charged when they want to use it. Since they have been sharing it with all their friends, it seems like it lasts more than enough for all kids to have fun. Overall, this was a great buy for the price. Compared to the cheap electric scooters you can find at this price range, this is a much more interesting toy for kids. I don't think I would consider this as transportation as it only has a range of about 5-6 miles according to the description, however for kids to play, it is fantastic. ... show more
