This device works reasonably well. i use it daily for transportation to the Metro station. Only thing is that it seems like it doesnt hold a charge for as long as it described in the product description. but all in all for under $200 it is a good buy. i am satisfied with this purchase

Got this for my daughter and she loves it. She said I finally picked a design that she likes. The board is safe because the speed is manageable. There are 3 setting. It has Quick acceleration and the ride is smooth and quiet. The board can be used as a regular skateboard without the e assist. My block is on a slight slope and she can coast downhill without using the electric motor, it’s that smooth. I weight 240lbs and can use it without any issues. It’s fun and safe. I showed it to my brother and he’s getting one for his son. I highly recommend this just so you don’t have to get your child a 20+ mph board. ... show more

The skateboards were gifts for my grandsons-they loved them!! I had to close my eyes every time I watched them ride. Chalk up the diverse opinions to a 60 year age difference!!

    • Will die in one day
Will die after the first charge then never take a charge again. It has no indicator its charging, but if you turn on the remote it will show the battery level of the board. Otherwise unplugging it and pressing the button on the battery will show 4 indicator lights but they aren't accurate. This board only worked for about an hour then never worked again. When it did work the brake function would almost throw you off. 2 other notes, 1. The board isn't bad. Even though it didn't work I still rode it around my campus on good Ole leg power. That is until I just went with a nice penny board on amazon for a third of this. 2. I never contacted the seller so if it was a one off, they never had the opportunity to help.
