  • Great Well Made Tool Bag That Just Made My Life A Little Easier
I have tried just about every option there is to just have enough hand tools all in one tool box, container, small zip pouches, tool back pack etc. But nothing really seemed to work for me it would be to big or to small or not easy to access when you don't have a lot of storage space to begin with. I have a couple roll up tool bags but there the type you put wrenches in.Well i was offered this roll up tool pouch on Amazon Vine and i seen the zip up pouches on this bag and it looked pretty well made so i ordered it. I think my problem has finally been solved, This roll up bag by ShidaShiye has four zip up pouches plusl two small ones that detach and five slots for screw drivers on the back side but i still wasn't sure how it would be after i got everything in it. Well I got all the tools i wanted to put in it and still have a little room for more if i want. It's not a roll up tool bag anymore it's a fold in half tool bag that i can carry enough of my basic hand tools to do a project with ease instead of digging in a big tool box for what you need and then trying to figure out how your going to get it there without taking the whole tool box. This tool bag is going to save me a lot of headaches and a lot of trips back in forth to my truck when i'm working on my truck. all still need a socket set and cordless tools but that is nothing when all have everything else already in this tool bag. Overall i wish i would have payed more attention to some of these type bags because you can actually get a lot of tools in it and carry it with one hand. it has a stap on each side with a padded handle in the middle and if you want it also comes with a snoulder strap to carry it with. I know it just made my life a little easier and now i won't be dropping tools trying to get them out to my truck anymore. If you have never tried this type of tool bag before you really might want to check this one out. it's made well and pretty reasonable in price compared to a lot of other one's like it. I'm real happy with it and would recommend it to anybody that is having the same kind of problems with there tools like i was having. Thank You For Reading ... show more

  • This is really nice tool roll!
I'm very partial to tool rolls. Boxes are clunky, there's always a ton of unused space and when you're traveling are always cumbersome to pack and stow. Tool rolls are better. They utilize the space a lot more effectively and are far easier to squeeze into smaller spaces, like in a vehicle. I have a few other tool rolls to compare this to, and so far it's right on par with my favorites. There are four big zipper pockets that can hold a lot more than you think. I took the contents of an entire 20 piece ratchet set and fit it into just one pocket, freeing up that whole blow-case worth of space. There are two smaller zipper pouches attached with velcro that you can use for fasteners or other small objects or remove entirely if you wish. On the back there is a veclro'd flap that underneath has spaces for wrenches or ratchets. The roll comes with a shoulder strap. If you plan to carry this on your shoulder a lot you'll want to add a pad or even replace the strap, but it's great for those situations where you really need a hand free. This is a really nice tool roll for the price. If you're in the market for one this is a great option. I highly recommend! ... show more

  • Almsot perfect. . .
I've always thought one of these tool rolls would be ideal for a vehicle break-down kit. The bag seems well-made, with tight seams. The zippers are kind of light for purpose. The shoulder strap is rather narrow for the weight that is likely to be carried in the bag. In practice, it seems like it will work but I'm still working out the details. See, the key for a kit like that is organization: repairs--especially roadside repairs--go a lot quicken when you can immediately put your hands on the right tool. Here's what I have so far: This roll has four large pockets, two detachable bags, and five screwdriver-sized pockets on the outside. One holds a multi-meter, some test leads, a few pieces of heat-shrink tubing, two coils of electrical wire, some dielectric grease, spare bulbs, some electrical tape, and a utility knife. The second pocket holds a 3/8" ratchet, some extensions, and three shortened socket rails holding metric and SAE sockets. (That's the first problem with this tool roll: the socket rails had to be shortened in order to fit in the pockets. I also had to ditch my long extension and get a couple of shorter ones that fit in the pocket.) There's also a piece of pipe to fit over the ratchet handle: an extension of sorts. The third pocket has sets of Allen and torx wrenches, a couple vise grips, needle-nose pliers and bent needle-nose pliers, a Crescent wrench, and several combination wrenches. The fourth pocket holds a tire repair kit: plugs and tools, a Schrader-valve tool and some spare valves, and two magnetic lights. One of the detachable pockets has some terminal ends, some fuses and a fuse-puller. The other is still empty, but I have no doubt it will get filled soon enough. The outside pockets hold 2 flat and 2 Phillips screwdrivers, and a pen light. Yeah, it is heavy--but I won't be carrying it far. Rolled up it fits behind the seat of my truck. It takes the place of 2 tool bags, but I had to pare down the contents considerably to do that. We'll see how it works out over the next year or two. ... show more
