    • A most useful tool
I finally found a tool that lets me get a socket to the plug in my water heater. Perfect for getting to those partially obstructed fasteners.

    • Weak detent/retainer ball on 2/3 of them.
The retainer ball on 2 out of 3 of these has a very weak spring, and allows the socket to fall off easily. Aside from that, they work as expected. The ability to have a swivel adapter for an impact driver is nice.

These are smooth compared to most and hold the socket snug. They also give you a few degrees more of a working angle. Put a drop of oil on the ball pivot to make them really smooth operating and make them last. I keep them with my driver and impact case and use them constantly.
