Features

  • Package Contains: 4 oz of ginseng slices per serving - Large. Our packaging provides the best seal for ginseng tablets to ensure their freshness
  • High-Quality Raw Materials: Our selected ginseng grows in a good place with high altitude, fertile soil and four distinct seasons. The peak nutritional value of ginseng was selected for picking, selecting and slicing
  • Elaborate Preparation: Select the strong roots of full-age ginseng and cut the thick parts, remove the head and tail to remove the fibrous roots, and only choose the main root as the raw material. Our ginseng slices have clear texture, large and full slices, not thick and not thin
  • Unique Flavor: Our processed american ginseng slices still retain the flavor and texture of ginseng. The ginseng slices have a refreshing taste, slightly bitter in the mouth, with a pronounced sweet aftertaste
  • Wide Range of Use: Ginseng slices can be used to make tea or as a seasoning to cook delicious dishes or ground into powder to make ginseng milkshakes. If you are looking for a gift for family or friends, this is a good choice

  • TooGet Ginseng Slices, 4 OZ Sliced Ginseng Root by Hand Picked
I like this. I've only put them in a cold beverage and have eaten some raw so far, but I like this a lot. Next, I'll make tea. Good quality. Fresh enough.

  • American Ginseng Grown in China
While this is American ginseng (Panax quinquefolius), it’s actually grown in China, which might matter if you're specifically looking for North American-sourced roots. American ginseng commands a higher price and is now being cultivated in other countries, like China, to offset the high demand for it in Asia. Ginseng grown in China is generally less expensive than U.S.-grown ginseng, partly due to lower production costs and differing quality standards. The listing mentions 2 oz of dandelion root, but there’s no sign of it on the jar itself. The ginseng slices are evenly cut and thin, but they’re also quite small. That said, they brew quickly and are a solid, budget-friendly option if you're making tea. Just don’t expect premium roots. ... show more

  • Definitely worth buying.
I regularly consume ginseng, and this is my first time buying this product. The price-performance ratio is fantastic. Although it's a Chinese product, it's not the fake kind that often appears in China. I give this item 5 stars. Actually, many ginseng plants in Wisconsin are grown in China because labor and land are much cheaper. ... show more

  • high quality/good value ginseng; love the thin slices!
This ginseng is a really good value, and the small, thin slices make it easier/more pleasant to use the way we do. My husband is the real ginseng connoisseur in the household. His dad turned him on to it years ago, and he often has a piece in his mouth, kind of like you would have a mint, and he swears it helps with energy. You'll even catch me having a piece now and then. We go to Wisconsin often, where a lot of superior-quality American ginseng is grown, and he will bring back pounds! I decided to try this one because the cut of what we usually get is like chunks, and I really liked the look of the thin slices. Although this ginseng is grown in China, it is high-quality; maybe not the supreme stuff we get from Wisconsin, but still well worth it. It smells and tastes great, exactly what you'd expect from ginseng; it starts out earthy and kind of astringent and gets earthy-sweet. I did end up liking the thin slices much better than the chunks for the way we use them. My husband and I work together, and he ended up taking the container in his work truck out and sharing some with the crew. Safe to say this one is a winner, especially for the price. ... show more

  • Ginseng tastes very light
These ginseng slices are thin and small, which makes it convenient and quick to make ginseng tea. The taste does have the taste of ginseng, slightly bitter with a little sweetness. But I personally think the ginseng taste is very light, not strong enough, and it is not high-quality ginseng.

  • Ginseng flavor not strong enough
The ginseng slices were cut into small and thin pieces and placed in a plastic jar. They were very dry and looked fresh. I took about a dozen slices and brewed a cup of ginseng tea with boiling water. The taste did taste a bit like ginseng, bitter with a little sweetness, but the ginseng taste was not strong enough. I think they are just ordinary ginseng slices. Because I have been brewing and drinking them for more than two weeks, I didn’t feel the effect that ginseng should have. I think I will not repurchase them. ... show more
