Used on the Grand Canyon for heavy white water rafting. The helmet itself is great. The provided clip for the GoPro it came with broke. I was able to use other GoPro accessories I had to get the job done. Comfortable. I removed ear guards, or you can’t hear anything. All in all good value.

PROs Not very expensive Nice matte black plastic finish Very lightweight Decently comfortable The adjustment knob works and is padded Logo stickers are easy to remove (you cant tell they were ever there now) The front mount is nice and fits my "action camera" mount The rubber sleeve/guard on the chin strap feels like good material CONs The helmet has a fair amount of flex so... no BMX riding The sticker is UG-LEE (until you remove it) The side strap Y-retainers will slip and move around. Only annoying if you have OCD. Not a safety concern The side rails seem very cheap but I'm sure they'll work Overall, This is not a bad helmet for the money. I will be using it mostly for casual bike riding and maybe some chill go kart driving. I mentioned it has flex; too much to be an extreme sports helmet but enough to protect you from bumps. I imagine it would be great for paintball and air soft. It's probably good for most casual sports that don't involve razor sharp rocks or bone-breaking, high-altitude falls. ... show more

    • Fits great but...
The helmet is well fitted. It feels good for a helmet but the padding seems a little less than expected so I'm not sure if it's actually good in the case of an actual accident. Also, they didn't make it obvious that the mount for the gopro is not included. They mentioned a mount came with it, but didn't point out they were talking about the mount fixated to the helmet, not the gopro mount. It's sold separately. I wouldn't mind that little detail if a regular gopro mount would work. You have to use a specific mount sold by them. It's still a good helmet, just make sure you buy the mount or else you'd have to order and wait even more. ... show more

I liked the fit and function of the helmet and the fact that it came with a GoPro camera mount. I disliked the fact that one of the earpads was missing and that I was unable to contact the company (Tontron) either via e-mail or by phone. This is a China-based and apparently does not have a U.S. partner. Amazon offered a return on the product but did not have a replacement helmet in my size. Since I was on a short timeline for a white water rafting trip I just removed the other earpad and used the helmet. Steve F. ... show more

    • Great helmet for the money
I use this helmet for whitewater kayaking. Very comfortable and stays in place once adjusted. Seems to have about the same protection as my NRS helmet. The camera mount system is solid, the other piece that mounts between the camera and helmet mount seems a little pricey, but its metal with spring loaded clips. Solid system, way stronger than plastic pieces stuck on helmet with double sided 3M tape ... show more

    • Decent Helmet, poor venting and awful branding
Helmet fits ok, the tensioner is easy to use and adjusts well. The chin strap is a bit wonky and the ear guards can be a bit uncomfortable at first. The issue for me is the stupid Tontron stickers with the On On logo on the back, which aren't in the images provided. I spent almost an hour with a razor and some Goof Off trying to get them off, so now I have a few nicks int he helmets rubvber coat and my fingers from trying to get those stupid things off. ... show more
