I love the 90s. I wasn't that old in the 90s, but the longing and nostalgia for a time that we cannot go back to is real. I guess I am officially "old" because the 90s is back in style now! I have lived through a full fashion cycle! Yowza! When I saw this t-shirt up for review, I was stoked to get it because it looks like something I'd see in an old 90s mag with some celeb wearing it. And now, I'm going to try to recreate the look (as best I can as a mid-age not so cool white dude, so not all that well). Packaging/Presentation: This Tommy Hilfiger t-shirt arrived pretty standard folded up in a higher quality plastic bag. I got the white tee because I'm pretty sure I saw it in a 90s mag once. It was in pretty darn good shape after I unpackaged it and felt I could wear it before having to give it a wash. Feel/Size: I am a bigger guy, about 6 ft 225 lbs. I got a large because I run and while I've got some flab, the running kind of keeps it under control (though my diet counteracts me from looking "fit.") The large fits and it doesn't feel too tight, though it comes a bit close on my chest around/above where the awesome Tommy Hilfiger logo is. Getting the XL probably would've alleviated this issue, but I guess this will just have to be some motivation to keep some self control during the holidays with all the crazy food intake. The shirt feels breathable, with it having some heft to it unlike cheaper cotton shirts, but not being too hefty. I think it's just about the right thickness to indicate quality and maintain comfortability (I think that's a word). Look: Okay, yes it is a t-shirt and I know that despite my 90s excitement, I am not going to be scouted out as a celeb or by any modeling agencies for wearing this thing around town. But it's just an iconic look, and I love it. If you didn't live through the 90s you might not understand, but this is a classic look that brings me back in time. The stitching on the shirt is quality, it feels higher quality than my cheaper tees (trust me I would know, I have plenty of them), and the logo... the logo is freakin' awesome! And this is coming from a dude who generally prefers no logo clothes. I'll make a happy exception to this and proudly fly the Tommy Hilfiger flag. Conclusion: Sure, this is a pricier tee. But some clothes are just fashion icons, and this is one of them. It's not so pricey that it's totally out of reason, they hit it right at the mark where you're like "darn, that's a lot for a tee but if I wanted to could I buy it?" And for many, the answer is yes. It is a quality tee, certainly amongst the highest quality tees I own (yea, I understand that's not saying much but hey, it is what it is). I love the look. But it feels quality, and I still get comments about this when I go out. It's a great casual, or even semi-formal attire depending on the occasion, and hopefully it will hold up longer than your normal tee. If you couldn't tell, I might be a bit biased, but I got everything I wanted out of this t-shirt and I would highly recommend it.

I wish I got one size bigger but it fit nice and snug. Awesome quality. Was perfect for Christmas time. No weird factory smell. Shirt fit was more fitted then I would have liked. But still looked amazing. Highly recommend.

I am rating this shirt based upon the fact that it was advertised as a Big & Tall size, but it not only runs small (smaller than even the size chart suggests), it is also so short it looks comical. My husband is 6’3” and when he put on this shirt I could see his belt with a hands width to spare (if not more). It wasn’t an issue with sizing either, as the shirt was not tight, it was just ridiculously short. I’m not sure if we received an imperfect shirt and the TH supplier that it came from has quality control issues, but as is It has absolutely no business being labeled as “Big & Tall”. Beyond the sizing kerfuffle, it’s a decent it not basic TH shirt. It seems like it would hold up like any other quality shirt, but we’ll personally never know (and can’t rate as a result) because this whole thing failed at the sizing stage and he can’t wear it. If you fall within the smaller sizes and/or don’t need a longer shirt and you like this style, you could certainly give this shirt a try. Thankfully, you have Amazon’s return policy as assurance that you can always return it if you need a different size or it just doesn’t work out for you.

This is a great everyday t-shirt – super comfortable and classic. It’s a Tommy Hilfiger, so you have some expectations when it comes to quality. I got it in navy, or "dark sky" as they call it, and the color is a rich, deep shade that looks really nice. The fabric is soft and comfortable. It's not thin or flimsy, which I appreciate. The design is simple and clean, with just a small logo and the brand colors - nothing too flashy. It's good enough to dress up a little or keep it casual. The chest insert feels slightly thicker than the rest of the shirt, enough to feel it on the skin. I went with the XL, and the fit is a bit snug – more like a relaxed large or a slim-fit XL. Still, it’s comfortable enough for all-day wear. I haven’t washed it yet, but being a Tommy Hilfiger, I expect it to hold up well without shrinking or fading. It’s definitely on the pricier side for a t-shirt, but again, it's the brand and the quality seems worth it.

I got this Tommy Hilfiger t-shirt for my dad, who is a size Large. The t-shit arrived neatly folded in a clear plastic bag. It feels soft/smooth and the material is quite nice. Not thin and see-through. The TOMMY HILFIGER on the front of the t-shirt is embroidered and not printed like most other t-shirts. It is very high quality. The fit is perfect also.

I'm 5'9 190lbs. I usually order medium or large shirts to get a decent fit of not too tight or loose, just depending on the brand. If you're a bit bigger, id recommend ordering a size up on this particular shirt. It's comfortable and good quality. It's just a good Tommy Hilfiger shirt. I don't think it's worth $46 though, I probably wouldn't spend more than $25 on this.
