This is a lovely little dress that looks exactly like its product pictures. It has a light denim look without the heavy denim feel of jeans or a denim jacket. It is made of cotton and polyester, so the material is thin, feels soft, and retains its shape fairly well. In terms of care (per the tag), “machine wash cold…do not bleach, do not tumble dry…do not dry clean.” The buttons down the front are functional, the two front pockets are functional, and the waistline drawstrings are elastic. The dress looks nice in general with good proportions. Hilfiger design cues are subtle and appear in the inside rear neckline, left front pocket, drawstrings, and branding on the silver buttons. Material and stitching quality are outstanding and as expected of Tommy Hilfiger apparel. HIGHLY RECOMMEND: I would highly recommend this Tommy Hilfiger Girls’ Lightweight Denim Shirtdress. I personally like how the smooth surfaces of the top contrasts with the pleated lines in the dress and how the transition is marked by the elastic waistline. Plus, this one piece outfit is easy to put on and the kids can handle it themselves.

I love a good denim dress, it is both dressy and casual at the same time so I own several of them and felt it was only fair to get one for my daughter. This dress is super cute, I would definitely wear it myself if it was available in adult sizes. It seems to run true to size and fits her perfectly and there is a functional drawstring so you can tighten the waist if need be. The fabric isn't too heavy so it's great now that the weather is getting warmer. I love the little heart detail on the pocket, it's subtle but cute. The length hits her right below the knee. I do wish it was 100% cotton instead of a cotton/poly mix, but the fabric is soft and comfortable. Overall, it's a cute and comfortable dress and my daughter loves wearing it.
