Bought these to replace the Peloton shoes that came with my Bike+ a few weeks ago. I wasn’t able to find my Pearl Izumis before my Bike+ arrived, and figured I’d see how the Peloton shoes felt before purchasing some new Pearl Izumis. The peloton shoes were not the greatest obviously. But this review isn’t about those. This review is about these Tommaso Pisa Aria comforting my feet while I climb hills with Alex T and Tunde O. I used to get halfway through a 30 minute ride and hope that there were no more hills coming up. Obviously, there always was at least one. These shoes l keep me comfortable as I climb those last few hills. They’re easy to put on/ take off with a simple turn to tighten/loosen. I no longer have to struggle to loosen straps or laces while also trying to catch my breath and switch to gym shoes. Glad I found these!

I’m a Peloton newbie and ordered these during the November sales. I ordered based on the sizing chart and my usual running shoe size, and they fit with some decent toe room. I ordered without cleats and installed a spare pair of delta cleats my husband had. I found the heels slipped a bit for me off the bike, but once I clip in, there’s no issue. The fastener style works well and is perhaps faster for me to adjust than velcro straps might be. I’ve done five rides in them, and I simply do not notice them at all while riding, which is the goal for any pair of shoes during a workout! I think the mesh upper plays a big role in stay comfortable and focused on just riding.

Highly recommend these cycling shoes. Much more comfortable than the Peloton shoes. These have a little more room in the toe box, and the lacing system provides equal pressure distribution so there are no pressure points on the top of your foot. The insole is removable so I was able to install my custom orthotics. Also great value as they come with the delta clips already attached.

I love the look and feel of the upper part of the shoe. I bought these to replace a pair that was too tight at the toe box for use on my Peloton. I love the no Velcro (another issue with my previous shoe) and laces. I do wish the quick lace system could snug in a little more for the toes but not a big issue as my previous pair was too tight. The lower design could be improved. The foot pad is too hard (will need to purchase an insert), the cleats are not countersunk into the sole (so you walk on them - harsh when you have wood floors and forget your water), and the cleats don't quite fit in the pedals. I am not using Peloton pedals but instead Shimano SPD. From other reviews, it seems like the clips are not quite the right size, which I can confirm with the SPD as others were the Delta. I will be replacing the cleats with my the cleats from my other shoe. Overall, I am glad that I have a replacement shoe for my toe box (the upper design is truly comfortable), and these will work for home use. I wish they were more refined for the foot pad and cleats, and I'll try not to forget my water before a workout.

I really like the dial to control fit rather than the strap most cycling shoes have. These shoes are comfortable and breathable. Also, was super happy to see you could request a specific clip and have it already installed on the shoe. Why don’t more companies do this? I found the fitting of the shoe to run slightly larger than true to size. It doesn’t impact performance but it makes me wonder if I will order down 1/2 size next time.

My previous cycling shoes were too stiff for indoor cycling. These shoes are very comfortable and very easy to slip on and off. I purchased them without the cleats and used the cleats from my previous shoes for use with my Peloton.

I may have been able to go down a size. Overall these shoes are great. The BOA is wonderful for post ride exercises or stretching or for doing bike boot camps. Easy on easy off. My only complaint is that the toe box is a little too wide. I like wide toe boxes but this is a bit too much and the BOAs are difficult to adjust in one spot. It tends to tighten near the ankle the most and then less as you get farther away from the connector. It’s possible I could have gone down a size and then wouldn’t have an issue. I didn’t know to look for this until I’d already worn them and felt them loose. My suggestion. Is that if they feel loose in the toes, like you can’t tighten them enough, try a size down and see if it helps. It’s too late for me! Haha.
