It was easy to put together but you probably need a larger rubber mallet than the little wood one they supply. you have to hammer pretty hard to get the connectors to seat all the way down and make sure they are exactly the way you want them before you hammer all the way because they are near impossible to get off... I mounted mine to the wall because I knew I would have lightweight items on each shelf (yarn) but the unit is better off standing on the floor. it comes with legs which I didn't use. I think this would be great for clothing or light nicknacks but def NOT books or heavy items. I wish I got the wire cubes as even with my yarn, the plastic "walls or floors" of each cube sags. ... show more

sturdier than it seems, love that you can take apart and put together however you want to suit your needs. at one point i was using it as a bookshelf and it held up well even with pretty heavy books, the bottom part of the shelves sag a bit after holding heavy things but not too bad that it's super noticeable ... show more

The media could not be loaded. There are some definite pros and cons but overall a worthy purchase and I plan to get more. It was fairly easy to put together and used mine in our closet we just redid. It does hold quite a bit and even my cat likes sleeping in the holes we don’t have stuff in and it holds him well. I just don’t recommend moving too much once put together and loaded. I did that once and quickly learned not to do it again. ... show more
